Build PR skills across a range of areas and expand your knowledge of the sports marketing sector in this junior-level permanent role. 

The Space Between is the sports marketing agency for challenger brands. It helps brands accelerate growth through sport and entertainment. Launched in 2020 TSB has gone from a start-up agency to a significant player in the sponsorship and sports marketing space in 3 years, winning 15 new clients and delivering work for brands and governing bodies including the FA, Under Armour, Xero and Vitality. In 2024, the agency won the European Sponsorship Association's Agency of The Year.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a thriving sports marketing agency and PR team. The account executive, PR role is vital to the day-to-day delivery of outstanding media opportunities for clients, and in supporting the delivery of projects through the agency. PR clients include Under Armour, England & Wales cricket Board, World Rugby and Premiership Rugby. You will be up for generating ideas and be a brilliant communicator with a passion for the world of communications.


  • Support the development of creative, proactive PR strategies for clients for sponsorship and sports marketing campaigns
  • Utilise and develop new media contacts for client campaigns outreach to generate coverage
  • Preparing a range of PR deliverables without errors - pitch emails, press releases, social copy, captions, emails, briefing notes and key messaging
  • Support the development of fresh social media creative ideas to increase brand awareness and engagement of campaigns.

Account management

  • Provide clear client communications which are honest, straight forward, and professional
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, rights holders and third-party suppliers
  • Be experienced in producing essential documentation such as client reports, client presentations, coverage tracking / evaluations, briefs etc.
  • Lead weekly reporting on your accounts and be on top of planning & organisational tasks required on the projects
  • Always hit or exceed deadlines (internal and client), delivering beyond client expectations.

New business support

  • Support new business pitches with brainstorms, team support and in pitches
  • Be confident with the agency proposition, credentials and how the agency sells its work
  • Conduct research for the senior team for existing client or new business where appropriate.


Knowledge, skills, experience

  • Some experience (approximately 6-12 months) in PR, ideally in an agency environment
  • Experience drafting pitches and press releases
  • Has working client facing and has a drive to generate coverage and build media contacts
  • Can showcase media coverage achieved in previous roles / experience
  • It would be helpful to have qualifications from the PRCA or Chartered Institute of Public Relations but this not essential
  • Reliability is key in a role where you will be pitching to clients and media
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Confident in spelling and grammar, with the ability to accurately proofread
  • Able to write engaging copy.
