LCA is a full-service PR consultancy that delivers campaigns, consultations and content to clients across the built environment sector. We utilise market insight to engage local communities, navigate complex political and stakeholder environments and promote brands, places and spaces to help create long-term value for clients in both the public and private sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 11-month maternity cover and presents a perfect chance for the right candidate to join a successful, growing company where they will be immersed in a range of work supporting the LCA team and our clients within a fun, motivated environment.

Press cuttings and subscription management

LCA provides a full PR service to clients, including the reading of local London newspapers and key trade press. These are read by client teams who then pass on key coverage to be cut and formatted, ready to be sent to clients.  This will form a huge part of your day to day role and is a great way of getting familiar with the work of our clients and how the media operates.

  • Mailboxes – monitor mailboxes regularly and respond / refer to the wider team as appropriate.

Supporting client teams and work

The Admin Assistant can lend their hand to support and work with client teams in a wide variety of ways. These tasks can vary enormously from compiling databases to mail merges.

  • Exhibition materials – creating and compiling resources for all public exhibitions, discussing needs with the team and managing materials / stock check.
  • Mail outs – assist with setting up and managing recipient lists for mail merges for LCA and client announcements / invitations.
  • Couriers – booking couriers, for both internal and client use.
  • Equipment hire – arranging equipment hire for client exhibitions and events.
  • Comments cards – creating spreadsheets and inputting data to track exhibition feedback.
  • Client Mailboxes & Distribution lists – managing the list of client shared mailboxes and distribution lists.
  • Database – regularly updating LCA Database with any changes to client data.
  • Ad-hoc requests – postage, formatting LCA documents, printing, binding, filing, diary management.

Admin team support

The Admin Assistant reports into the Head of HR Operations & Employee Relations and works alongside the Office Executive and Admin Assistant, who together form the Admin Team.

  • Campaign Monitor Updates – weekly additions added via campaign monitor
  • Events in the LCA office – whilst the Office Executive manages all logistics for LCA and client events, you will often be responsible for assisting with these in the office.
