Salary: £27,500 per annum

12-month fixed-term contract, 35 hours per week    


We are looking for an administrator to join our public acts team within our learning department. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join the National Theatre's (NT) Nationwide initiative to create extraordinary acts of theatre and community and act as the central administrator for the programme. 

You will act as the central administrator for the Public Acts programme, working closely with the Senior Producer, Associate Producer and Public Acts Coordinator to effectively administrate the various elements of the Public Acts programme.  

The administrator is based in the NT’s Learning department. The role is focused on Public Acts but work with the wider Learning team as required for the operation of the programme and the wider development of community engagement at the NT.  


The successful candidate will have: 

  • Solid administrative experience in a professional organisation 
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks 
  • Excellent communication skills - writing, face-to-face and over the phone 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to deal confidently and positively with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds
