This is a dream entry-level role for creatives with digital skills and an interest in the comms, marketing or entertainment industries.

Media Business Insight Limited (MBI) owns a unique portfolio of leading multichannel subscription-based brands, offering content and insight to key decision-makers and creatives in the media industry across TV, advertising, film and marketing services.

MBI brands are: Broadcast, Broadcast Intelligence, Screen International, World of Locations, ALF, KFTV, The Knowledge, Production Intelligence, The Media Production and Technology Show, Broadcast Awards and other industry events.

The purpose of this role will be to assist the Production Manager in the delivery of external and in-house online campaigns and newsletter campaigns. The key area of this role is digital, but you will be required to assist with print production across our magazine portfolio. Basic design is a key aspect of the role and you will be asked to design adverts and campaigns for external clients and in-house marketing and events teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Using Google Ad Manager, optimise the performance of digital advertising campaigns.
  • Create performance reports for clients and in-house commercial teams
  • Chase copy and design digital advertisements
  • Create and manage MBI’s digital magazines 
  • Design and serve third-party emails – knowledge of basic HTML 
  • Manage the production of a number of weekly newsletters in Campaign Monitor 
  • Assist the Production Manager with print production as required
  • Be a design resource for MBI’s events and social-media initiatives

 

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • Experience in a publishing environment, or business-to-business (B2B) media/commercial publishing
  • Experience of serving campaigns using Google Ad Manager or other similar serving platforms
  • Design skills and proficiency in Creative Suite – particularly InDesign and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of digital magazine platforms
  • Working knowledge of Campaign Monitor
  • Proven understanding of HTML and HTML5 preferred
  • Print experience preferred
