Want to work across titles for ages five to young adult, including both illustrated and non-illustrated projects?

Reporting to the Publisher, Fiction Brands and Classics, the Editor will be focused on supporting the Publisher and senior editorial staff on a number of high-profile authors and classic titles. 

This is a truly collaborative role, and the successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of the editorial process, working closely with staff in all other departments to help prepare and champion these titles.


Who we are looking for

  • We are seeking a talented, highly motivated individual with experience of working within children’s publishing
  • We value imagination, ambition and collaboration, and are looking for somebody who is eager to grow their skillset while delivering exceptional editorial service to some of our most important authors and brands
  • Applicants should have excellent editorial skills and a keen understanding of the children’s fiction market
  • Considerable experience of working as an assistant editor/editor is required


  • Proven success in children’s fiction publishing is desirable
