Law Business Research is a technology-enabled information services business powering the global legal industry. They deliver must-have intelligence to clients when they need it, through a combination of time-sensitive insight, proprietary data and analytics, expert research, and sophisticated tools, across a range of specialist platforms.
In this internship, you will support editorial and admin processes within the research content and legal content teams of Law Business Research.
Key activities
Contribute to editorial content:
- Liaise with law firms to arrange and carry out interviews
- Write up interviews and prepare selected content for reports
- Create articles for publication online
- Edit and proof content ready for publication
- Contribute to other content projects as necessary (eg, podcasts, videos and reports)
Support the editorial and production processes for content, for example:
- Liaise with law firms to coordinate the survey data submission process
- Coordinate sharing of data submissions with offshore teams for reports
- Publish content on our platforms
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of events
- Assist with social media and marketing activity
Work with internal and external editorial contacts on content creation process:
- Review amended documents ahead of publication
- Manage the publication process for new resources
What we're looking for
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proofread documents
- Experience of liaising with a variety of stakeholders (internal and external)
- An interest in the legal industry
- Basic Excel knowledge
