We have a further exciting paid internship opportunity for the Autumn/Winter 2022 period in our Editorial Development Team.

The Editorial Development Team at Adam Matthew is responsible for developing the digital resources, working closely with archives and academics as well as the wider Editorial Team. The intern will also gain the opportunity to work with archival material and a dynamic and forward-thinking team.

This Internship will be for 1 day a week over a 10 week period.  The role is hybrid, partly based at our office in Marlborough, Wiltshire, with some flexibility for home working.

During the 10-week placement the successful candidate will work closely with a Development Editor which will provide hands-on, in-depth experience into the tasks and processes undertaken during the development phase of our projects.

 

The successful candidate will take on a wide variety of tasks for the project which may include:

  • Carrying out market research
  • Conducting research into new archival collections
  • Compiling bibliographic data from archival catalogues
  • Researching key thematic areas
  • Supporting copyright and permissions clearance
