The team

Podium is a division within freuds housing our sport, entertainment & culture offering. The division houses a range of publicists specializing in a sport & entertainment, whilst also offering the opportunity to work across a range of different clients. The division works closely with the wider freuds group, offering unrivalled connectivity, experiences, and opportunities. 

The entertainment team within freuds works across a range of disciplines, including unit publicity, theatrical film campaigns, streamer publicity campaigns and premieres & live events. 

 

The role

We are seeking an associate who will be involved in a range of TV & film publicity campaigns, as well as live events. We operate an integrated publicity team so you will be expected to have a strong knowledge of UK online and offline journalists. You will be a key player in driving the creative ambition of the client and have a proven ability to develop and deliver impactful publicity strategies and campaigns, generating excellent results. You take pride in delivering excellent work and regularly exceed expectations.

You are hungry for responsibly, new challenges, and the opportunity to work on some of the biggest campaigns & events in entertainment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral part of a team delivering best-in-class publicity campaigns for a range of clients 
  • Manage the relationship with media monitoring agencies
  • Secure the confidence of the client, becoming their day-to-day first point of contact 
  • Be confident in, talent handling and dealing with talent reps 
  • Be confident in, operating on red carpets / live events 
  • Research background information and ideas to support your line managers in the development of new business for prospective clients/clients. Your approach to research should ‘leave no stone unturned’ in its thoroughness to ensure it is robust as your line managers may be using this information in documents and in discussions with prospective clients/clients
  • Organizing and coordinating events, press conferences, photo calls, and or media contact programmes
  • Responding quickly and accurately to client requests.
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of current entertainment landscape in the UK, US and globally  
  • Be confident in creating original, project – specific creative publicity ideas & activations
