
Head of digital operations/digital operations manager

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience and location (+bonus +benefits)
Location: The role will be based at our London office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week

Our digital operations team plays a crucial role in the heart of Bookouture, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact. From maintaining critical systems to spearheading strategic initiatives, our team is committed to driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional results.
What you'll be doing
You'll be managing a team of two, handling the operational tasks that keep our digital systems running smoothly - managing content delivery, maintaining data quality, and resolving day-to-day issues.
- Overseeing our operations database (Airtable), designing automations, interfaces and workflows
- Resolving operational issues as they arise either yourself or by delegation to the team
- Providing coding support and solutions
- Communicating project outcomes and progress
- Team management, review and development
- Strategic projects management
- Ensuring efficient and accurate content setup and delivery to retail partners
Who we are looking for
- Advanced Airtable knowledge (including automations, interfaces, workflows)
- Scripting abilities using various coding frameworks including Python and JavaScript
- Proven experience with API integration
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise multiple projects and delegate effectively
- Clear communication skills across varied audiences
