Our internship offers the opportunity to experience life in a dynamic, fast-growing communications agency and participate in live client work, including research, writing and media monitoring. Alongside supporting client teams, you will have exposure to an insightful learning and development programme, including training in Financial PR, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and campaigning.

The internship will start on 1st July 2024 and end on 23rd August 2024, based at our central London office. All our interns will be paid the London Living Wage.

About the internship programme

We want all of our interns to have an immersive experience into the world of communications, which is why we put so much into the learning programme. Here’s a flavour of what you can expect from day one.

Every intern is paired with a Personal Manager and a Buddy. Your Buddy will be there to help you settle in and answer any questions you have. Your Personal Manager will be on hand to have weekly check-ins with you to discuss what tasks you’ve been set each week and help support your learning journey during your time with us.

Here’s some of the induction sessions you can expect to attend:

  • Introduction to Corporate PR
  • Introduction to Public Affairs
  • Introduction to Financial PR
  • How to turn research into insight
  • Introduction to Digital PR
  • Introduction to effective campaigning
  • How a newsroom works
  • Media handling 101
  • Writing great copy
  • How Westminster and Whitehall works
  • Introduction to sustainability and comms

We are looking for people with:

  • A genuine interest in business, current affairs and the media
  • An enquiring mind and thirst for continuous learning
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, coupled with a collaborative mindset

A bit more about us

We’re an award-winning communications agency based in the City of London. Integrated communication sits at the heart of everything we do and we’re looking to give our interns hands-on experience of what this means day to day.

Culture is something we’re passionate about and we’ll be finding lots of ways to help you settle in during your time with us. Expect to be taken out for lunch in your first week to get to know your Personal Manager, and your Buddy will be putting in regular coffee catch ups with you too.

We believe learning is an important part of what we all come to work for each day, which is why we run regular all-agency lunch and learn sessions.

And, at the risk of bragging… we have a rooftop terrace with one of the best views of London’s skyline, which everyone is encouraged to make the most of. When the sun’s shining you can sit up there for an internal meeting or head up there during your lunch break.

We’re an equal opportunities employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds. We always hire for ‘culture add’, rather than ‘culture fit’. We celebrate difference and are committed to creating an inclusive working environment.

We are proud to have been awarded Ally status with The Blueprint. The Blueprint is an industry accreditation which helps talented Black, Asian, Mixed Race and Ethnically Diverse communications professionals find employers committed to supporting them. And it also helps organisations attract, retain and nurture diverse talent.
