This is a truly unique opportunity to join an award-winning artist and project management agency at an exciting time of expansion.

HarrisonParrott is an international artist and project management agency working in the field of classical music and the arts, with offices in London, Munich and Paris. Its vocal department with its fine roster of over 60 singers is highly regarded and active throughout the world. While HarrisonParrot's main focus is classical music and the international management of performing artists, they also like to work in arts disciplines, including ballet, opera and theatre and the Polyarts brand manages artists from a wider range of musical genres.

The successful applicant will be working in HarrisonParrot's HR & Ops team. This internship is a multi-faceted role providing strong back office administrative and HR administration. The role entails many administrative and managerial duties, and the successful applicant will be used to, and be able to manage, many different simultaneous tasks, prioritising and seeing things through.

 

What you'll learn

HR 

  • How to manage and maintain HR soft and hard files, and multiples databases
  • Best practice when it comes to being the first point of call for basic HR queries
  • Managing and maintaining all HR lists, trackers and the HRIS database
  • Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
  • How to arrange all external meetings for HR, with suppliers, recruitment agencies, partners and more
  • Manage general administration for HR and support Head of HR as necessary

Operations

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post & scanning
  • Liaise with building management to arrange visitors and book meeting spaces
  • Provide backup support for facilities and maintenance requests
  • Assisting monitoring for Data Protection compliance 
  • Provide or oversee catering when required
  • Manage off-site storage
  • Manage email inboxes (Info & Reception)
  • Support the management of the staff rota

Recruitment duties

  • Advertise roles across job boards
  • Manage and monitor applications for recruitment
  • Create short-listing packs
  • Coordinate first round and second round interviews
  • Organise new employee orientation, on-boarding, induction and training programs

General 

  • Support research and coordination of company-wide training programme
  • Be responsible for organising company social events

 

What we're looking for

  • Thorough and methodical with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a large number of varied tasks with multiple deadlines
  • Be quick, efficient and able to work under pressures
  • Strong organisational skills, able to plan ahead and think laterally about problems with a solution focus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrable understanding of professional confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent IT skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Confident, friendly and professional telephone manner

We'd love to hear about any of the following

  • Working knowledge of at least one additional language
  • Experience of scheduling and organising events from start to finish
  • A good knowledge of and active interest in music
