A unique opportunity to spend the day with the media team of one of the UK’s leading food brands… 

The Jamie Oliver Group is a commercial business with social purpose. They are organised into three functions: media, products and licensing and restaurants — as well as an in-house campaigns team. Their media team is inviting 32 individuals to join them at their London HQ for a jam-packed day on Friday 18th October 2024. 

You’ll get the chance to rotate around four teams. Working in small groups, you’ll participate in a task within each of the following areas: 

  1. Social media and marketing team – you’ll be set the task of making a TikTok to promote the launch of Jamie’s new book  
  2. Video team – you’ll be producing, shooting and styling a 2-minute recipe video alongside Jamie’s personal food stylists and video production team 
  3. Production management – you’ll be briefed about what production management is, find out how to access roles in the industry and how to create a top CV 
  4. Photography – working with Jamie’s in-house Art team, you’ll be learning how to shoot a still of a dish from Jamie’s new book, good enough to hit his social media pages!


About the day: 

  • Timings: 9.30am – 5.30pm (including a one-hour lunch break) 
  • Date: Friday 18th October 
  • Location: Benwell House, 15-21 Benwell Road, Islington, London N7 7BL

Please note: 

  • Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided 
  • Participants from outside London will be able to claim reasonable travel expenses
