In 2024, the agency won the European Sponsorship Association's Agency of The Year.

Creative Access is delighted to be recruiting a junior account executive in a role where no two days will be the same. You will be a critical marketing support on multiple accounts, responsible for assisting the rest of your team with a ‘can do’ attitude, energy and a passion for brand marketing, culture and creativity – that this is in sport & entertainment is a bonus! You will have the opportunity to experience multiple aspects of a marketing campaign from delivering events with attention to detail, creative campaigns & content and PR activation to deliver media coverage. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Account management ensuring the skilful management of status reports, client meeting / briefing notes and strong client written and verbal communications
  • Support the account teams becoming experienced in producing essential documentation such as client reports, client presentations, evaluations, briefs etc.
  • Contribute to creative ideas and advice for the marketing strategies of clients
  • Client facing, interacting with clients, managing projects and marketing deliverables
  • Be a key player in the planning and on-site delivery of client productions & events
  • Work closely with third party suppliers on key deliverables for client campaigns
  • Conduct research for existing clients where appropriate
  • Continually monitor media for client coverage and relevant industry news
  • Management of a client’s customer rewards/ticketing programme related to its sponsored music venues.

Account management

  • Provide clear client communications which are honest, straight forward, and professional
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, rights holders and third-party suppliers
  • Excellent grammar, writing and proof-reading ability. The ability to draft simple briefs, briefings and press releases
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Support with the weekly reporting on your accounts and being proactive with capturing notes, ideas and actions and sharing them with the team
  • Always hit or exceed deadlines (internal and client), delivering beyond client expectations.

PR & social communications

  • Willing to expand your experience and be involved with comms clients including outreach to media for client campaigns
  • Contribute to preparing a range of PR deliverables without errors - press releases, social copy, captions, emails, briefing notes and key messaging
  • Have an understanding of social media and support in the creation and rolling out content plans and writing copy for social posts
  • Take on responsibility for agency social channel content with support of colleagues.

Agency

  • Show a thirst for knowledge & career progression
  • Understand the basics of Sponsorship/sports marketing/brand marketing and different channels
  • Be an expert on your client's brand and competitors, sharing relevant news
  • Always represent the agency and its clients in a professional manner and create and contribute to agency culture and values
  • Understand the importance of strong financial procedures and budget management.

New business support

  • Support new business pitches with brainstorms and team admin
  • Be confident with the Agency proposition, credentials and always on the lookout for potential opportunities
  • Conduct research for the senior team for existing client or new business where appropriate.

 

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • You will either have marketing-related education or approximately 6 months of experience (e.g. work or internship) in marketing, either in-house or ideally in an agency environment
  • Passion for marketing first and foremost
  • Sport is this agency's sector but it is more important that the candidates show their interest and desire to work on marketing campaigns and a passion for marketing brands and businesses
  • Has a desire to be creative and passion for exciting and creative marketing in the sports sector
  • Education linked to marketing disciplines or 6 months experience (such as an internship) in marketing either in-house or ideally with an agency
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
