Missive is an award-winning technology PR and marketing communications consultancy. We were named PRCA Workplace Champion 2021 and PRCA Consultancy of the Year 2020. Missive was founded with the sole aim of delivering a positive impact both to our clients and to the lives of our staff.

We are currently experiencing rapid growth in our client portfolio, which boasts globally renowned brands such as RingCentral, Santander, Workday and Virgin Media O2, as well as some of the most exciting fast growth brands including EML Nuapay, Quantum Metric, TripActions and Vyne. 

As a result, we are looking for a dynamic junior consultant / consultant (junior account exec or account exec equivalent) to join our team. We are excited to offer the chance to work in a progressive, fun culture with supercharged career development and inspiring clients. 

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 6 months’ PR experience.

Knowledge, skills, experience

This job is for you if you have:

  • A degree (or equivalent) and at least 6 months’ experience working in PR or digital marketing
  • A thirst for news
  • An interest and knowledge of the technology and B2B sector
  • A strong understanding or some experience in the PR world
  • Strong writing skills
  • An ambitious attitude and self-starter mentality
  • Outstanding time-keeping and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good judgement
  • Good people skills

 

The job involves:

  • Working across a portfolio of clients to support with their PR needs
  • Achieving great press coverage results through media relations
  • Playing a critical part in account teams
  • Producing high quality written work that clearly tells a story
  • Undertaking weekly and monthly reporting
  • Playing a hands-on role for event management
  • Supporting the wider Missive team with business development tasks
  • Learning quickly – about the world of PR and your own personal development
