The Production Team at St Marks Studios are looking for a production assistant for an exciting 12 month placement opportunity starting as soon as possible.  

St Marks Studios is brand experience agency specialising in COOH, experiential, special builds and retail activations for consumer brands.

About the role

This Production Assistant role will support all four of the main functions: logistics, operations, finance and internal team support. You will work closely with everyone from Producers, Creatives, Client Teams right up to Head of Production assisting with pre-production shoot logistics, maintaining team admin and assisting with on-site shoot running.  

On small shoots, you will work directly with the Producers to help deliver stunts and activations, stepping up into more responsibility. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Hiring studios and production equipment 
  • Booking hotels and flights for cast and crew 
  • Attending production meetings and making notes 
  • Keep the production calendar up to date with shoot dates 
  • Managing returning all unused props from shoots, arranging couriers for props to client and storing kept props in the store cupboard 
  • Responsible for keeping the store cupboard orderly recycling or donating items that have that have become redundant 
  • Assist with writing production schedules and distributing them to relevant cast and crew 
  • Assist the Production Coordinator with typing and distributing call sheets and daily reports 
  • Desk based research for shoots including props and populating production decks 
  • Other duties from time to time as appropriate and subject to workloads.
