The role will look after some of the most amazing content being produced right now, for clients who are at the cutting edge of television production.

Premier’s World Class Television team is looking for a senior account manager to work across its roster of consumer accounts. 

We operate hybrid office/remote working and can offer flexible hours. 

The purpose of this role will be to manage and maintain existing client business on a day-to-day basis and help win new business for Premier. You will also direct the work of any junior staff in your area as necessary.

 

Responsibilities

Client accounts

  • To deputise for the team Account Director when required
  • Manage day-to-day running of specific client accounts and fulfilling the agreed brief
  • Devise PR strategies to meet clients’/potential clients’ briefs
  • Attend and lead client meetings as required
  • Provide client counsel on strategy and campaign delivery
  • Draft and present proposal and review documents
  • Oversee accurate and prompt press coverage distribution to all clients
  • Oversee team compilation and distribution of client reports and press materials to a high standard
  • Organise and manage press briefings and launches
  • Pro-active feature placement
  • Read and monitor key media for client cuttings and associated coverage 
  • Possess and continue to develop excellent TV, showbiz, news, features, and trade contacts
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities from existing clients
  • Initiate new business contacts and help to prepare new business proposals
  • Offer input into other client accounts and proposals
  • Direct the work of any junior staff in your area to an excellent standard of delivery and to deadline
  • Inform senior managers of any client/media/personnel challenges

 

Company-wide tasks

  • Follow all house systems and styles 
  • Ensure the contact database is up to date and inform all staff of any key media changes
  • Provide the Director of Entertainment and Television with accurate information for contracting and accounts procedures
  • Occasional group responsibilities as requested

 

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • PR experience is required
  • Television unit/production experience is ideal but more important is a love of television and a positive attitude
