Recipe is after a Social & Content Executive – an enthusiastic, creative, strategic and analytical person in the early stages of their career.

You’ll be responsible for the conception, creation and delivery of content across a variety of clients - we’re after original, relevant & effective ideas that help clients meet their business objectives. You won’t be alone – you’ll be working with a Head of Social and Content and Content Manager who will help and guide you on your journey at Recipe and develop your career.

Some of the clients you’ll be working on but not limited to, are: Audible, Whyte & Mackay Whisky, Amazon Music, Maryland Cookies, TREK bars and a super-secret one we’ve just won so can’t talk about yet.

You’ll be part of a growing team at Recipe, who are all hungry and pushing each other to produce the best work we can. We have fully functional in-house production – design, motion, producers, dev - so if you’re the type of person who can think on their feet to produce a great reactive idea, we’re an agency that can turn it around in the same day. We’re also working to be better at creating on-the-fly content in our team, so if you know your way around a phone camera that will be a big plus.

Responsibilities

Campaign and Community Management

  • Manage day-to-day presence across all social networking sites including Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter & TikTok
  • Collaborate with the social team to develop socially engaging, relevant campaigns that support key category and business objectives
  • Manage & publish content across relevant social channels

 

Content Creation & Planning

  • Creating and developing simple social ideas that tackle client briefs in a well thought out and engaging way
  • Work with social, planning and creative teams to produce & maintain content plans
  • Look for opportunities to create reactive content & PR stories
  • Assist in the production of social-specific content including ideation, scriptwriting and briefing the production team, along with creating phone-shot content
  • Keeping up to date with trends & news, looking for opportunities that we can pitch to clients

 

Measurement

  • Create basic reports that analyse, review, and report on the effectiveness of social campaigns and assets across key accounts.

 

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • Creative flair, especially in writing
  • Strategic outlook with the ability to be innovative
  • Attention to detail, adopting a flexible work approach, and the ability to thrive in an environment that doesn’t micro-manage
  • Understand the basics of each social media platform - from aspect ratios to algorithm basics
  • Challenge the status quo – never satisfied 
  • Confidence to present and discuss ideas
  • Good interpersonal and organisation skills 
  • A desire to continually learn and develop
