Media Business Insight Limited (MBI) owns a unique portfolio of leading multichannel subscription-based brands, offering content and insight to key decision-makers and creatives in the media industry across TV, advertising, film and marketing services.

MBI brands are: Broadcast, Broadcast Intelligence, Screen International, World of Locations, ALF, KFTV, The Knowledge, Production Intelligence, The Media Production and Technology Show, Broadcast Awards and other industry events.

This role is focussed on growing and cross selling existing subscribers into our wider portfolio of subscription products. The successful candidate will also need to deliver a significant volume of new business as well as providing a high level of customer service to key corporate clients.




  • Meet & exceed targets – monthly, quarterly & annually.
  • Exceed activity based Key Performance Indicators
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts & manage pipeline effectively
  • Serve as lead point of contact for all corporate customer account management matters.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of subscriptions according to customer needs and objectives. 
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders to open conversations about our wider subscription and MBI portfolio.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics. 
  • To plan sales calls and utilise time to ensure the maximum amount of time is spent on the telephone selling to clients
  • To log all sales, call backs, information, and other data accurately and in a timely manner into Hubspot
  • To present the company, its products, and services in a positive fashion, to external clients or internally to colleagues
  • To wherever possible resolve accounts queries or any other customer issues that result in non-payment or disputes
  • To liaise effectively with others in your team and with other departments in the organisation
  • To ensure that all verbal and written communications are of high quality, delivered in a timely manner and to a high standard
  • To monitor customer usage and key account metrics.
