Annual Salary Range: £30,000 - £33,000
Duration: 8 weeks (June to August)
Weekly Hours: 24 hours per week (Monday – Thursday, 6 hours per day)

Launch your entertainment career this summer. FIFTH SEASON is offering a paid 8-week internship in London, with hands-on experience in TV Distribution and a chance to work on award-winning projects.

FIFTH SEASON is a recently formed global entertainment company and is already a multi-award winning creator / producer / distributor of feature films and premium television series, including the 14 Emmy nominated Severance, Roar, See and Truth Be Told on Apple TV+, Wolf Like Me for Peacock, Life & Beth, Nine Perfect Strangers and Emmy nominated McCartney 3,2,1 for Hulu, and Tokyo Vice for HBO Max.

FIFTH SEASON is also a trusted partner and handles global distribution for dozens of hit series, including Killing Eve, The Morning Show, Normal People and The Night Manager. FIFTH SEASON’s internship program runs each summer for 8 weeks from June to August. Interns will be placed in a department that aligns with their professional interest out of Creative Development, Legal & Rights Management or Sales & Marketing. They are also encouraged to participate in various events in the company, whether that is monthly birthday celebrations, sports and social activities, ERG events or training.

Responsibilities

The intern will work on department specific research projects, perform administrative duties, and support their manager with ad-hoc daily tasks. Interns may be asked to complete an end of summer assignment or pitch individually or in assigned teams utilising the knowledge they have acquired over the course of the summer. Furthermore, the intern may be asked to temporarily cover an assistant’s desk when they are absent.

Requirements:

• Must be a full-time student.
• Must be detail oriented and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-through.
• Must be an excellent multi-tasker and have proven problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks.
• Friendly and open demeanour with ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Dependable and proactive.
• Able to prioritise the workload and use time efficiently.
• Must have a basic understanding of, and strong desire to build a career in the entertainment industry.
