Do you want to develop your professional skills and knowledge of high-end TV, without necessarily having previous experience? 

A leading TV Drama production company are looking for are looking for an enthusiastic Team Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day running of the department.  

This is an office based primarily administrative role, based in our Central London office, 5 days a week. It’s a great opportunity to gain an insight into all aspects of a globally renowned and leading production company specialising in scripted drama.

We work with teams making some of the UK’s most original, diverse and highly acclaimed television series, including Time, Silent WitnessWe Hunt Together, Smother, Doctor Who.



  • Diary Management; To manage and update diaries for the Drama team.
  • General office administration and maintenance of the office; Purchasing, including stationery and other office supplies for the department, raising relevant purchase orders on SAP where applicable.
  • Filing of expenses on SAP for the team.
  • Management and preparation of all internal and external meeting room bookings, and preparation of meeting rooms where required.
  • To be the first point of contact and liaison with the building reception for guests on arrival, post and other deliveries.
  • Offering refreshments to guests, talent and colleagues where necessary, including lunch runs for meetings.
  • Coordinating and organising production and research trips for the team.
  • General housekeeping across office and communal areas.
  • Booking travel and accommodation for colleagues and talent where required.
  • Act as the department’s first point of contact for internal and external queries and to take necessary action as appropriate.
  • To maintain the smooth and efficient running of the department, assessing priorities and taking appropriate action.
  • Organising and arranging gifts for talent as requested.
  • Preparing agendas and taking minutes at appropriate meetings.
  • Coordinating submissions for awards.
  • There will be an opportunity to read script submissions, provide coverage and attend development or production meetings.


Knowledge, skills, experience

  • No previous industry experience necessary, but an interest in TV drama is a must.
  • Proactive, ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational skills, timekeeping, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • MS Office skills, particularly, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly.
  • Able to prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Keen and fast learner.
  • You will be able to react to changes in priorities and re-organising your workload to meet shifting deadlines.
  • Understanding of the need to handle confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • A flexible and pro-active approach to their role.
  • Ability to deal sensitively and confidently with a range of contacts, both internal and external to the company.
