We also want to meet people who are passionate about the power of laughter, who are committed to excellence, enthused by theatre and media and are excited about working as part of a small, busy and welcoming team. Key responsibilitiesAssistant and administrative support <ul><li>Complex diary management, coordinating and minuting meetings when required for the MWL CEO, Mischief Creative Directors and wider MWL team where appropriate.</li><li>Horizon scanning; look ahead for forthcoming events, projects and productions, flagging periods to hold off for casting, recast rehearsals, milestones &amp; events etc.</li><li>Manage arrangements for all UK and international trips, including travel, accommodation, meetings and theatre tickets for the MWL CEO, Mischief Creative Directors and wider team members where necessary.</li><li>Act as a point of contact for all phone, email and face-to-face enquiries relating to the work of the Creative Directors and CEO, responding on their behalf as required.</li><li>Process ticket requests from Creative Directors and CEO, other company members and associates.</li><li>Manage correspondence on behalf of the CEO – writing letters to investors and industry contacts. </li><li>Manage public enquiries received via the online contact form, liaising with relevant teams to fulfil requests where needed. </li><li>Write and proofread additional material on behalf of the CEO and Creative Directors.</li><li>Support CEO with preparation for quarterly board meetings including taking, editing and distributing minutes.</li><li>Send updates to Mischief Theatre Ltd (MTL) shareholders and Creative Associates as necessary.</li><li>Keep across company IT support needs, including IT requirements for new employees. Take the lead on communicating with account manager and discuss system/security needs with CEO.</li></ul>Finance<ul><li>Manage MTL bank account including making payments, reconciling paperwork and filing bank statements.  </li><li>Manage splits of income to original participants and contributors from MTL.</li><li>Compile accounts information and distribute profit shares/investment returns.</li><li>Support the Mischief Consultant Financial Director administratively where required with regards to MWL/MTL expenses and reconciliation.</li><li>Liaise with the company’s accountants when necessary, including payment of invoices. </li><li>Handle petty cash, reconcile expenses and card statements on behalf of the Creative Directors and CEO.</li><li>Be responsible for analysing credit card statements and sending supporting documents to Mischief’s Consultant FD. </li></ul>Licensing<ul><li>Support the CEO and Licensing Manager in contract administration.</li><li>Coordinate with replica licensees in the arrangement of MWL representative visits. </li><li>In collaboration with the CEO and Licensing Manager, oversee the coordination of scheduled Partners Days.</li></ul>Creative development<ul><li>Support the Creative Directors and CEO in drafting emails to agents and potential partners, as well as researching potential projects. </li><li>Coordinate Mischief Development Meetings – setting up meetings, communicating with members, taking minutes and following up with actions.</li><li>Maintain the Development Log.</li></ul>General<ul><li>Maintain confidentiality at all times, particularly with regard to embargo periods and developing work. </li><li>Liaise with the Kenny Wax Productions (KWP) General Management staff to support communication between KWP and MWL regarding Mischief productions. </li><li>Work collaboratively with the KWP production office and maintain effective liaison with all departments and show staff as required. </li><li>Coordinate ad hoc projects on behalf of the CEO and Creative Directors as necessary, coordinating relevant teams and working with the Mischief Consultant Finance Director on creating, updating and reconciling budgets where applicable.</li><li>Responsible for coordinating internal hospitality and setting meeting rooms for Mischief meetings.</li><li>Actively uphold Mischief values and contribute to a collaborative, friendly and supportive working environment.</li><li>Manage the MWL holiday diary.</li><li>Any other projects as assigned by the CEO or Creative Directors.</li></ul> Knowledge, skills and experienceEssential <ul><li>Demonstrable experience of supporting a busy Executive team</li><li>Proven administrative and planning experience to ensure the smooth running of an Executive team. </li><li>Methodical administrative and business management skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent numerical, organisational and time management skills. </li><li>Excellent independent judgement. </li><li>Excellent IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office. </li><li>Well organised and calm under pressure. </li><li>Reliability and discretion. </li><li>Strong initiative and the ability to ‘make things happen’. </li><li>Passion for the arts and media.</li></ul>Desirable <ul><li>Experience of working in a busy arts or media environment. </li><li>Experiencing working with creative practitioners.</li></ul> Mischief values<ul><li>Laughter as tonic – through our work, we offer people an escape from the every day.
