Our growing international publicity team in London are looking for an enthusiastic and driven account executive to join DDA, supporting across a wide portfolio of client accounts. The ideal candidate will be a confident, highly organised individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You should be a self-starter and have a keen interest in film, series and the world of publicity. With the help of senior team members, you will build strong relationships with journalists, distributors and our clients and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes through your own work and the team you support.
Responsibilities
Delivery
- Create and maintain high quality / detailed databases / media / distributor nominations lists and tracking documents to support the team in all aspects of client servicing
- Provide overall organisational support to the team, including assisting with the coordination of press junkets, press tours, trailer launch interviews, creative content days, formulating/adapting at-a-glance schedules and personal talent schedules to changing circumstances
- Respond quickly and effectively to requests from senior staff
- Provide timely and accurate coverage, status and publicity wrap reports
- Draft press confirmation letters
- Support across press days and/or interview blocks, both in person and virtually
- Responsible for updating and managing all documents in preparation for a festival including the team’s festival press list, press advisory & bible
- Manage logistics including the booking of travel and accommodation as required
- Arrange festival accreditations for the team and/or clients
- Assist in the DDA festival press office with the support of other members of the international team and help pull together press schedules
- Pitch and help secure press coverage for clients at festivals
- Assist with providing screening reactions as required
- Help pull together presentations and provide research support as required
Strategy and commercial awareness
- Contribute to group brainstorms, demonstrating knowledge and creativity
- Attend networking events
- Avidly follow industry news and review trade press daily, circulating key industry stories/news pertaining to DDA clients
- Develop knowledge of key international journalists

Knowledge, skills & experience
- Interest in international PR with basic knowledge and/or experience within the industry or associated fields
- Demonstrate a “can-do” attitude and flexibility with changing workloads/demands

- Self-motivated, self-starter, takes initiative and delivers on tasks set
- Effective listening, strong verbal and written communications skills (including grammar)
- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet research
- Must be happy to work additional hours as required and be available to travel internationally as needed, this will on occasion involve working evenings and weekends
- Additional languages are useful but not essential
