Love comedy and looking to experience the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the month of August?

Avalon is a multi-award-winning talent management, television production and live promotion group with offices in London, Los Angeles and New York.

As a leading promoter of live comedy, we represent over 100 acts including Russell Howard, Rose Matafeo, Phil Wang, Ed Gamble, Flo & Joan, Lou Sanders, and many more.

As part of our dedicated Edinburgh Street Team, you will be invited to attend show previews in London and meet the acts and the permanent Avalon team before hitting the festival to promote this year’s exciting new shows.

If you’re passionate about comedy, are great at talking to people, and are keen to experience Fringe shows with hand-to-hand marketing, we’d love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to get noticed and considered for future roles within the company.

What we're looking for

  • A keen interest in comedy and entertainment
  • A confident and upbeat manner whilst flyering around central Edinburgh for all Avalon shows
  • Stamina, enthusiasm, and determination
  • Hardworking and a team player

Benefits

  • Free entry to shows across various venues (subject to availability)
  • Discounts at venue food stalls and bars
  • Staff social events

Terms of employment

  • One day off per week from the second week.
  • Daily hours vary. Ideally candidates will also attend some previews in London in advance of travelling to Edinburgh.
