Help shape the future of film by delivering campaigns that connect people with purpose-driven cinema and amplify under-represented voices.

Founded 20 years ago, Reclaim The Frame (formerly known as Birdsʼ Eye View Film Festival) is the UKʼs award-winning campaign for gender equity in cinema. Our mission is to champion films by filmmakers of all marginalised genders, and to grow audiences for them through community building, developing safe and accessible spaces for conversation, promoting a de-patriarchal, de-centralised and de-colonised lens on the world, and advocating for social justice in all film spaces.

We’re recruiting for a key communications role within Reclaim The Frame. The communications coordinator will be both the voice of our mission across marketing and outreach channels, and the connector who helps keep our internal systems running smoothly. Working closely with the head of campaigns, the post-holder will play a vital role in delivering our film campaigns - from generating engaging content and managing social media, to supporting events and building relationships with audiences, venues, and partners. Alongside external comms, the role also supports our director and board, helping to ensure the efficient running of our hybrid office.

Our ideal candidate will be a creative, organised communicator with a passion for film and social justice. You’ll bring flair for content creation, an eye for detail, and proven skills in audience engagement. You’ll also be comfortable balancing communications work with diligent administration, and thrive in a collaborative, values-led environment.
