
Deputy marketing director (12 month FTC)

Location: The role will be based at our London, Bristol, or Sheffield office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week

What you'll be doing
The deputy marketing director will support the creative and marketing director in leading the marketing team day-to-day and devising and delivering the Hodder marketing strategy across our broad range of fiction and non-fiction. This role has a particular emphasis on brand strategy (Stephen King, Lucy Worsley, Louise Penny and many more), maximising the value of our backlist, and driving marketing excellence with all team members at every level, in all formats and all territories.
The role will put a keen emphasis upon evaluating the efficacy of marketing activity, placing consumer insight and data analysis at the heart of everything we do. The deputy marketing director will also have direct responsibility for all communications with international stakeholders, to ensure local knowledge is utilised to its full, building relationships with sister companies, international authors and global publishing teams.
