
Digital marketing assistant

Nosy Crow is looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Assistant to support a dynamic and collaborative Digital Marketing team responsible for digital marketing campaigns to promote our children’s books across Novelty, Picture books, Fiction, and Non-fiction.
Nosy Crow is a multi-award winning, independent children’s publishing company with operations in both the UK and the USA. We make child-focused, parent-friendly children’s books for ages 0-12.
The Digital Marketing Assistant will report to the Digital Marketing Manager, delivering an essential role in supporting the execution of digital marketing campaigns to promote our children’s books across Novelty, Picture books, Fiction, and Non-fiction.
This is a full-time position and is a hybrid role, working a minimum of three days per week in our office near to London Bridge. The successful candidate will have the right to live and work in the UK.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and publish relevant materials and communications to the Nosy Crow Website.
- Develop curated reading collections on the Nosy Crow website
- Populate the department activity calendar in conjunction with the wider sales, marketing, and PR teams
- Utilise Issuu (a magazine publishing platform) to create previews for picture books, non-fiction, and fiction titles, and add these to website product pages.
- Analyse order data and customer inquiries to identify trends and support team needs
- Assist with creating presentations and reports for the Digital Marketing team.
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Manager to draft, schedule, and engage with content across social media platforms
- Work with the PR and Marketing teams to ensure smooth information flow and keep the digital team informed of campaign activations
- Carry out general admin tasks (such as distributing competition prizes to winners) as well as working collaboratively with other assistants across the business (coordinating recycling, Nosy Crow office post duties etc.)
Key skills, characteristics and capabilities:
- This is an entry level publishing position, but an interest in Children’s books and social media is essential. Office experience would also be beneficial.
- A very close eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to write persuasive copy.
- Confidence in building and maintaining relationships.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines in a busy and fast paced environment.
