Reporting line: You will report directly to SJ Peyton, Director of Television 

Contract: This is a permanent full-time role (working hours 9.30-6.00 weekdays, with occasional out of hours working essential), with 25 days holiday per annum (plus all public holidays), to begin as soon as possible. 

 

Manage press launches, set visits, and work with top talent and broadcasters in this exciting role!

The television team collaborate with a wide range of production companies, writers, directors, broadcasters, streamers and distributors on everything from commissioning announcements and corporate publicity through to unit publicity, launch strategy, awards submissions and campaigning. 

We work across all genres of television for both international and UK broadcast and streaming releases. Recent and upcoming titles include The Night Manager, Fool Me Once, The Tourist The Listeners, Reunion, Death in Paradise, Beyond Paradise, A League of Their Own, Boat Story, Archie, Normal People, Castaways, Culprits, Men Up, The Chase, Funny Woman, The English, The Gallows Pole, The Gathering, After the Flood, Casualty, Karen Pirie, What It Feels Like For a Girl and Malpractice.

You will be a part of the team working on a range of campaigns across our exciting slate.

 

Key tasks

  • Manage day-to-day running of client accounts, aiming to fulfil the agreed brief.
  • Draft and distribute press releases where required.
  • Compile talent schedules and liaise with talent representatives.
  • Organise and manage press briefings, set visits and launches.
  • Produce creative and inspiring campaign proposals across traditional and digital media.
  • Possess and continue to develop excellent television, showbiz, news, features and trade contacts across all media outlets.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and ensure the team is adapting to them.
  • Provide directors with and with accurate information for contracting and accounts procedures in a timely manner.
  • Direct, motivate and encourage your client account handling team. 
  • Oversee client budgets.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • At least two years’ television publicity experience.
  • Strong organisational & planning skills, and the ability to prioritise work effectively and flexibly 
  • A good track record in communicating well with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent writing skills.
