Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2 days per week in the office minimum)
Contract: Full Time (35 hours per week) / Fixed Term (8 weeks)

As an intern in the External Communications and Brand team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-impact events, engaging social media content and effective PR activities that enhance Cambridge's reputation.
What you'll be doing
- In this role, you will help organise and coordinate physical, virtual and hybrid events, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and campaign messages.
- Your responsibilities will include arranging logistics, booking venues and stands, liaising with colleagues and assisting with stand design.
- You will also contribute to post-event analysis, helping to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- You will support the team in creating compelling social media and digital content, sourcing and producing visual assets such as images, graphics and videos to engage our audiences.
- You will also support the public relations function of the team, including media monitoring and stakeholder communications, to help amplify our brand's reach and impact.

- An outstanding level of English and clear communication skills to be able to connect with others quickly and effectively is essential.
- The role requires a high level of planning and organisation, along with an eye for creativity and detail.
- An interest in the fields of marketing, PR and brand would be advantageous.
- You are motivated to play an active role with the delivery of the team's activities, which include reputation management, pro-active communications and public relations, events and brand management.
- You will be an active and engaged participant in team and stakeholder meetings.
