Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus bonus opportunity

Working hours: 5 days, 37.5 hours a week (9.30am – 5.30pm with one hour for lunch, Monday – Friday)

Location: Farringdon, London office (option to work remotely up to 40% of the time)

This role reports to the Managing Director. Its direct reports are the Senior Marketing Manager and Campaign Executive.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead Marketing department, ensuring clear communication, strong collaboration, and efficient workstreams
  • Manage the marketing team to ensure effective delegation across the department
  • Continuously review and optimise workflows, processes, and systems to improve team performance and project delivery
  • Oversee the marketing strategy for live tours across the Fane Group, including How To Academy
  • Advise on tour pricing and ticketing structure pre-announcement
  • Set and managing marketing budgets across in-house and venue campaigns
  • Own the marketing reporting strategy:
    • Deliver campaign performance reports for internal producers and external agents
    • Monitor sales trends and in-house performance metrics in collaboration with Ticketing
    • Produce post-tour reports with insight from Marketing and Ticketing team members
  • Oversee mark backs, ticket top-ups, and agent allocations, ensuring effective communication with external partners and internal departments
  • Shape the strategy for filling unsold seats and maximising final sales windows
  • Oversee the integration and advancement of CRM systems like Activity Stream, ensuring both departments benefit from improved audience insights and campaign automation.
  • Lead audience segmentation work across tours and campaigns, using multiple data sources to refine targeting and improve ROI on marketing spend
  • Work with the Head of Audience Insights to ensure effective digital and paid media strategy (PPC, social ads, SEO, programmatic)
  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, from social media to physical activations
  • Work with the Head of Ticketing to ensure the workload across departments is shared and delegated effectively in busy periods


We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in live events, ticketing, or entertainment marketing — with significant experience in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing marketing and/or ticketing teams and budgets across multi-venue tours or campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of ticketing platforms, audience segmentation, and digital advertising
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data to shape strategy and demonstrate ROI
  • Experience implementing or migrating marketing systems and CRM platforms
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and forward-thinking mindset
  • Proven experience of managing a team
  • Highly organised with strong commercial acumen and a passion for live events
