Missive is looking for two junior PR consultants to join its hybrid team on a permanent basis. 

Missive is an award-winning PR and marketing communications consultancy that specialises in technology. We represent many of the world’s leading and fastest-growing technology companies, including Virgin Media O2 and the Santander Group.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Working initially across a portfolio of 3-5 clients in the technology sector to support with their PR needs. Typically, these clients want attention from other businesses, investors, opinion formers and future talent.  
  • Building a personal contact book of relevant journalists and key opinion former 
  • Achieving great press coverage results through media relations 
  • Producing high quality written work that clearly tells a story 
  • Undertaking weekly and monthly reporting  
  • Playing a critical part in busy account teams 
  • Supporting the wider Missive team with business development tasks 
  • Learning quickly – about the world of PR, tech and your own personal development  

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • A thirst for news 
  • An interest and knowledge of the technology and B2B sectors 
  • A strong understanding of or some experience in the PR world 
  • Strong writing skills 
  • An ambitious attitude and self-starter mentality 
  • Outstanding timekeeping and prioritisation skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Good judgement and common sense 
  • Good people skills 
  • A willingness to be part of  and make your mark the Missive growth story 
  • Previous office and/or PR experience – this is desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate your passion for the sector in other ways 
  • The right to work in the UK; we aren’t able to provide visa sponsorship.
