Take your first step into PR and build real-world communications experience in a collaborative agency environment.

We are a 35-year success story that drives powerful outcomes for clients by blending expert advice with boundless creativity. We are built differently. You might even go as far to say we’re unusual. We blend deep advisory experience and senior counsel with curiosity and creativity. We work as one team (not in silos), combining the right experts across media, policy, employee, investor, social and digital for each client challenge. We found our ideas on clear insight driven by diverse real-world perspectives, investment in digital and AI, and a societal lens. We join the dots across stakeholders and channels to add more value. We foster an environment where our people can thrive, innovate, and collaborate with clients day in day out.

We are looking for 2 interns to join our team. Our three-month paid internship is designed to give aspiring communications professionals hands-on experience in strategic communications, corporate affairs, public relations, public affairs and reputation management.

Whether you're a student, graduate, career changer or simply exploring a future in communications, this programme is intended for individuals seeking to start a career in communications. It is aimed at those with little or no professional experience in the sector and focuses on developing foundational skills.

The programme combines hands-on experience with structured training to help you build practical communications skills. You’ll learn through a mix of live client work, team collaboration, feedback, mentoring and dedicated training sessions.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop practical skills including:

  • Supporting client account teams across a range of sectors and specialisms
  • Monitoring media coverage, political developments and current affairs
  • Conducting research and stakeholder mapping
  • Preparing briefing materials, presentations and reports
  • Drafting content and communications materials
  • Supporting social media and digital communications activity
  • Supporting public affairs and stakeholder engagement activity
  • Assisting with new business and marketing projects
  • Attending internal meetings, training sessions and team events
  • Learning how strategic communications programmes are developed and delivered

We're looking for people who demonstrate:

  • Curiosity about current affairs, media, politics and business
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good judgement
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Initiative and enthusiasm
  • An interest in communications and reputation

You do not need previous communications or agency experience to apply. We encourage applications from individuals who may not previously have considered a career in communications and are committed to making our recruitment process inclusive and accessible. If you require adjustments at any stage of the application process, please let us know.

The application link provides full details of the application process, including the qualifying questions to include in your application and instructions on where to submit it.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.

Due to the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to response to every applicant.

We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented in the creative industries.

Please make sure that you state in your application that you found this role via Creative Access.
