Intermission Film is an award-winning creative agency that specialises in audio-visual and design for the entertainment industry. Intermission strives to create the best work possible, creating iconic campaigns that capture the imagination of a global audience.
We are looking for a film-loving, passionate individual to join our growing print team at an exciting time. This role will support the production team to successfully execute complex print projects from initial research and strategy through development and delivery. Support duties will be both internal and client-facing. This is not a design role, but a passion for great aesthetics and film poster design is essential.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the production team for the necessary tasks throughout a key art lifecycle
- Project research - consolidating project background information, sourcing reviews, writing script synopsis, pulling comparable examples, image and reference research where required
- Presentations - creating pitch docs and treatments, formatting documents for presentations, creating showcase decks for clients
- Assist with search for new talent and updating freelance databases
- Assisting with stock and font licensing on finished materialsSourcing any additional material needed for projects including stock imagery, unit selection
- Assisting with the management of materials including downloading, filing and archiving
- Quality control - checking all final deliverables are correct
- Production communication - maintaining schedules, calendar and diary management for the production team
- Providing office management support, including answering calls, booking meeting rooms, client hospitality, updating archive of printed posters
- Assisting with client comms on select jobs
- Help compile asset lists for large-scale campaigns, build out delivery schedules and help liaise with media agencies and owners for asset delivery
- Researching upcoming productions and distribution slates
- Manage freelancer contractor agreements
- Assist with keeping IMP updated with our released work

What we need from you
- Proven experience working in an administrative or runner role in a busy and fast-paced creative environment
- Keen interest in film and design with an enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and create strong working relationships
- Strong organisational skills, along with strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and diligent
- Excellent time management with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and keep a level head under pressure in a reactive environment with quick turnaround times
- Discreet and tactful with an understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality and data protection good practice
- A calm and professional manner
- A proactive, flexible and adaptable approach
