We are excited to announce four vacancies within our new restructured RTR team, offering a fantastic opportunity for experienced Assistant Accountants to join us on a permanent basis. These positions sit across two dynamic teams, each with slightly different responsibilities, and candidates will be considered for all roles during the interview process.

Reporting to the RTR Manager of the respective pillar, you will be part of either our Reconciliations team or our Core team. In either role, you will be responsible for delivering general ledger account postings , reconciliations and query resolution, maintaining the integrity of financial data ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded in the Fusion Trial Balance. Throughout these processes, you will actively support automation, efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness, all while upholding strong internal controls.

Responsibilities

Depending on which pillar you are assigned to as mentioned above (Core or Reconciliations) some of your key day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Perform daily, monthly, and year-end accounting activities, including journal postings, revenue/cost reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations using ARCS.
  • Support month-end close processes: sub-ledger to GL, recharges, accruals, eliminations, revaluations, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Assist with lease and HETV accounting, as well as Fusion data corrections and root cause analysis.
  • Conduct stock reconciliations and resolve aged balances to de-risk the balance sheet.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
  • Participate in UAT testing and support system upgrades and SaaS releases.
  • Collaborate across Finance Operations to resolve issues and drive accuracy.
  • Maintain process documentation and support SOP adherence.
  • Cross-train to build team resilience and avoid single points of failure.
  • Meet performance targets aligned with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively and take ownership of personal development.
  • Carry out other duties as needed, aligned with our ITV behaviours.


Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)...

  • Assistant accountant (PQ or equivalent) with experience of working in a finance department
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Oracle Fusion / ARCS)
  • Experience of working in an RTR team is desirable
  • Experience of using large ERP previously is desirable
  • Experience of using automated reconciliation software is desirable
