Hiring range: £26,000 - £30,000 (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location: ITV Manchester, Media City + Hybrid (minimum 2-3 days in office per week)

Our busy Global Finance Operations team is seeking an experienced RTR Coordinator to support Content acquisition for M&E Channels. Reporting to the RTR Manager, you’ll be responsible for raising purchase orders, checking contracts, ensuring accurate invoicing from Producers, and coordinating timely payments. The role also involves supporting month-end and year-end close activities, and collaborating effectively with key teams, stakeholders, and peers to ensure smooth finance operations for ITV Channels.

 

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Raising programme POs and managing the receipts process
  • Checking invoices against programme contracts / Tripartites / IPAs / side letters 
  • Cross-checking and approving/releasing invoices for payment for the purchase of ITV content, and regularly liaising with external producers
  • Timely updating Genersys, ITV’s stock system, with key financial information
  • Support key stakeholders with the day-to-day finance needs of ITV’s suite of channels
  • Support colleagues in Purchase to Pay, Record to Report, Scheduling, Contracts and Rights & Legal and Business Affairs teams
  • Investigate/remediate/escalate variances and issues as necessary

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

Minimum criteria

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Previous experience of working in finance administration with Procurement or Purchase Ledger team
  • Experience of analysing data on spreadsheets
  • Experienced user of Google Suite or Microsoft
  • Experienced in use of large ERP

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • Ideally PQ/Qual AAT or equivalent
  • Organised, detail oriented and meticulous
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Happy to work with uncertainty and change, supportive of transformation
  • Self-motivated
  • Loves problem solving and investigating - have an ability to anticipate issues / offer efficient solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across different teams
  • Excited by and supportive of process automation and systems solutions
  • Team player and collaborative

 

Note some unusual but not unheard of circumstances associated in the role:

  • Longer hours at month ends
  • Occasional limited weekend working for critical period ends, or systems testing for imminent upgrades
  • Supporting across the whole RTR team if required during critical busy periods, or sickness or other non-regular occurrences
