Our growing creator marketing team is looking for a passionate, driven senior account director to join DDA. You must be fully immersed in the world of creators but also experienced in working in the film, television and entertainment industry. As senior account director, you are an ambitious and proactive member of the team, responsible for leading creator campaigns that harmonise with larger publicity and marketing goals. You’ll support and coach your team on exceptional client management and delivery. You have a deep knowledge of the creator space and passion for generating thumb-stopping content, as well as a drive to secure new business and deliver industry-leading work for our clients. You have engaged influencers on a paid and earned basis and have extensive experience building diverse influencer lists for a variety of projects. You have experience working in a fast-paced publicity team and are skilled in managing junior executives.


Responsibilities

Client relationships

  • Build strong relationships with our clients in the film and TV space and add value with expert knowledge
  • Work with the senior vice president (SVP) UK consumer publicity and senior partners to troubleshoot any issues relating to this ongoing work
  • Oversight of the day-to-day client management, rectifying issues as they arise and ensuring smooth communication throughout

Strategy and commercial awareness

  • Lead, devise and execute strategy for campaigns with an awareness of client objectives and competitive landscape
  • Be mindful of other aspects of our business and proactively share information where suitable
  • Invest time and creativity in new business pushes, driven by yourself directly or other team members
  • Manage the development of existing relationships with creators and managers, proactively recommending new avenues for business development

Delivery

  • Direct campaigns in the UK and provide the client with regular updates
  • Guide the creator marketing team to achieve the best possible outcome for a project
  • Oversee timely reporting for our clients with the support of the wider team
  • Lead by example on standards for reporting, interview nominations, strategy docs, etc.
  • Utilise the depth of team, oversee the delivery of materials in a timely manner
  • Working with the strengths of the team to find the best solution for any given project
  • Lead on contracting of influencers with the support of the SVP
  • Manage campaign/event budgets for clients as required and with the support of the team
  • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with creators/creator managers, whilst ensuring maximum visibility for our projects

People

  • Responsible for managing a team of senior account managers, account managers and account execs, assist their progression and output

Knowledge, skills & experience

  • Demonstrable experience working in influencer marketing at a senior level within the film, TV and entertainment sector
  • Proven leadership and strategic experience working on campaigns, with strong experience of client management
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Known to a range of clients in the entertainment sector as well as a host of talent managers
  • Red carpet experience a plus
  • A passion for learning, and getting under the skin of, client businesses to give them the best possible outcomes
  • Highly motivated with exceptional influencing and negotiating skills
  • Previous experience managing account manager level, carrying out appraisals and assisting with their progression
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organised to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects
  • A team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Pro-active and intuitive
  • Highly organised, and a clear, confident delegator
  • Proficient in presentation software and other Microsoft packages
