Location: This role can be based at our London or Sheffield office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week

What you'll be doing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and creative senior marketing executive to join the Hachette Children’s Group multi-award-winning marketing team. This is a broad and hands-on campaign role covering the full marketing mix, including trade sell-in, on and offline advertising, content creation, partnerships, eCRM (electronic customer relationship management), POS (point of sale) and more. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a broad range of campaigns across our list, right through from picture books to YA (young adult) and including new launches, backlist and ongoing brands. You will manage the running of HCG’s social media channels, and will have specific responsibility for our education and library channels. Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will have proven marketing experience, ideally within or relevant to the children’s book industry. Demonstrable creative ability is vital, married with commercial awareness and a firm focus on ROI (return on investment). You should be digitally savvy with a flair for harnessing social media and securing partnerships, an excellent copywriter, confident project manager and first-rate communicator. Resourceful and motivated, you will be buzzing with ideas and the knowledge of how to translate them into action, and juggle multiple projects with initiative and efficiency.
