Project Everyone is a non-profit creative communications agency. Their job as an agency is to make the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s or Global Goals) universally known, so that Governments, businesses, and people can use them to help solve the big problems in the world like the climate crisis, poverty, and inequality.

They do this in many ways – they make films and social media content. They organise events and create campaigns with private and public sector partners.

Project Everyone is currently looking for someone to support its small, hardworking team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for an entry-level role in the creative or NGO sectors. 

 

What you'll be doing 

You’ll be managed by the Senior Manager of People & Culture and spend part of your week providing them with general office support including:

  • Welcoming visitors, taking notes in meetings, organising refreshments
  • Keeping kitchen stocked and ordering lunches
  • Dealing with post
  • Assisting in organising team travel and social events
  • Looking after petty cash and using the accounting system to load invoices
  • Liaising with IT company

You’ll spend the other part of your week on rotation between teams (social, creative, campaigns, education, and climate), to gain experience across all the work being done, including assisting with:

  • Creating social media campaigns and posts
  • Research and organising events
  • Creating decks for presentations
  • Joining meetings and creative brainstorms to help generate ideas

 

What you will learn

  • Research skills
  • How to use tools for creative decks (including Adobe and Canva)
  • Budgets and petty cash processes (Excel & Xero accounting software)
  • How to create and design social media posts
  • Communication skills – how to work with different stakeholders
  • Time management skills

 

What we are looking for

  • You need a proactive attitude, be flexible and willing to learn
  • A good level of computer literacy especially the Microsoft Office package
  • Be friendly and confident in talking to a range of people
  • Have great written and numeracy skills and pay attention to detail
  • Be able to organise your time and workload
  • Be inquisitive - able to do research online
  • An interest in global issues and current affairs would be helpful
