ABOUT ORIGINS

If your favourite pastime is going to the cinema or you are obsessed with binge-watching every TV series possible, and if you love to talk to people about your favourite shows and movies and persuade them to watch stuff you think is brilliant, then read on...

Our team of publicists and event specialists are experts in getting our clients’ films and TV shows talked about. Whether it is working with journalists to get our projects coverage in magazines and newspapers; speaking to talent bookers and producers at TV chat shows and radio stations; inviting tastemakers and celebrities to screenings; running red carpets; creating social buzz with digital sites and content creators; managing events and stunt activations to amplify awareness or filming interviews with talent to publicise a film or TV show, no two days are ever the same in a full service entertainment comms agency like ours!

ORIGINS is an award-winning inclusive talent development programme created by Organic, supported by Havas, in collaboration with a collection of film and television industry organisations, to create an access point into the film & TV PR industry and provide you with the grounding and the connections you need to set you off in your career.

ORIGINS is designed to equip you with the practical skills and learning that you need to launch you into a career in film and/or TV publicity. A passion for television and film is essential and excellent organisation and good communication is key. You will need to be good at multitasking. You’ll need to have strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude and an enthusiasm for forming and developing good relationships both internally and externally - with colleagues, clients, press and industry contacts.

ORIGINS is open to all but especially welcomes people who may be underrepresented in terms of ethnicity, socio-economic background, and disability or who are facing significant barriers to employment, who dream of having a career in the film and television industry.

Please include that you found this role through Creative Access in your application.
