Warner Records work experience
Duration: One-week work experience, with potential for paid extension based on performance and meeting team needs.
Compensation: This is an unpaid work experience; participants will gain valuable industry insight and networking opportunities within Warner Records. Your travel and food expenses will be covered.
This one-week work experience provides an immersive opportunity for aspiring music professionals to gain hands-on exposure within Warner Records.
Participants will work closely with our Marketing and Content teams, gaining insight into the core areas of artist promotion, digital content strategy, and creative marketing campaigns. This programme offers a unique chance to learn directly from industry experts and contribute to projects that support Warner Records’ artists and label partners.
What you'll be doing
Throughout the week, you will have the chance to:
- Collaborate on content creation: Work alongside the Content team to brainstorm and develop ideas for social media, video content, and other digital marketing assets that highlight Warner Records artists.
- Engage in digital marketing tasks: Track trends across social media and content platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Assist in monitoring campaign performance, and preparing reports on engagement metrics.
- Participate in team meetings and creative sessions: Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and support brainstorming for content and marketing initiatives. You may also join on calls with artists and label partners to understand campaign goals and strategies.
- Research industry trends: Conduct research on current industry and content trends, providing insights that may contribute to future Warner Records campaigns and projects.
What we're looking for
- Have a passion for music and creativity: Your enthusiasm for music and creative content will drive your contributions and inspire new ideas for the team.
- Be a self-starter with strong initiative: You should be comfortable jumping into various projects and working independently when necessary in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong organisational skills: Being organised and detail-oriented will be crucial as you help manage schedules, track content, and follow through on assignments.
- Excel in communication and teamwork: Bring strong interpersonal skills, and be ready to collaborate effectively with the Marketing and Content teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Be proficient in Google Workspace and digital tools: Familiarity with Docs, Sheets, Slides, is preferred. Experience with social media platforms and digital content tools is a plus.
