This is a key role generating positive press coverage for the NG200 programme, maintaining and developing the global reputation of the National Gallery.
In 2024 the National Gallery will be celebrating NG200 - 200 years of bringing people and paintings together with a year-long festival of art, creativity and imagination which sets the tone for our third century. The bicentenary press &amp; PR manager is a fixed term role that will generate both proactive and reactive media engagement around this milestone.
Working as part of the Press &amp; Public Affairs Department, you will develop PR campaigns and activities that maximize the Gallery’s use of earned media, seamlessly integrating with other NG200 communications activities, such as paid and social media.
 
Responsibilities

The Independent Cinema Office (ICO) is the national organisation for the support and development of the independent cinema exhibition sector in the UK.
We offer film programming services to cinemas, bring films into distribution and are the main provider of events, training and advice for the independent cinema sector. We work with the main funding bodies in film exhibition, are a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity.
Our film programming clients include cinemas as diverse as the Watershed in Bristol, Malvern Theatres in Worcestershire and Catford Mews in South East London. In 2020-21 we delivered a national film tour, Second Sight, exploring the legacy of the UK’s Black Film Workshop Movement with a series of award-winning artists’ commissions. The ICO also delivers Screening Days, a national and regional showcase for cultural cinema for film societies, community cinemas and cinemas; and runs a portfolio of national and internationally renowned training programmes for exhibitors.
 
The role
One day you may be creating a social media campaign for our digital platform, The Cinema of Ideas, the next you may be researching venues for one of our international training courses and the next organising the delivery of preview films for our Screening Days events. We work with many different kinds of partners across the UK – cinemas, festivals, film societies; national bodies; distributors and education and training providers.  
The ICO is a small arts organisation and the individual we are seeking must be a self-starter. You will be assisting busy marketing and event teams to deliver activities across all of our services.

We are looking for a passionate, collaborative and detail-orientated website manager, with a background in search strategy with a focus on search engine optimisation (SEO) and experience in online content management systems and analytics software, to join the team in our London office on a 12-month contract.
Your task will be to oversee the Smart Energy GB website and its content to ensure it provides a seamless journey for our campaigns, directing the audience to relevant journeys within energy supplier websites to book a smart meter installation, as well as providing journeys for those looking for information about smart meters. You will also oversee the relationship with our build partner and manage a six-figure annual development budget, which you will use to create and deliver the annual development road map.
 
Key tasks/responsibilities

<li>Lead on creating our website content strategy. Ensure new content generated is appropriate for publishing, including writing accessible website content and proofreading content from junior team members</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with our media agency and Search Manager to review combined SEO and PPC delivery, generate new keywords and ad copy, and review ongoing performance</li>
<li>Lead our development agency to deliver the annual development road map for the website, including large-scale developments. <li>Experience of delivering audience focused multichannel marketing campaigns in the theatre, opera or performing arts sector</li>

Responsibilities
