The Announcers provide that crucial link between the business and its viewers through live and pre-recorded continuity, delivered on our linear TV channels (C4, E4, E4 Extra, Film4 and More4) and on Channel 4 Streaming. &nbsp; Key responsibilities<ul><li>Watch content and write concise, insightful, enticing, editorially and legally compliant promotional scripts to suit each channel’s unique brand identity</li><li>Write scripts for use on Channel 4 Streaming</li><li>Refine scripts following feedback &nbsp;</li><li>Record, edit and upload audio for pre-recorded transmission on our linear channels and on Channel 4 Streaming, at our Playout Centre or remotely</li><li>Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure sign-off on all marketing messaging</li><li>React quickly and creatively to varied briefs from around the business</li><li>Assist with production administration including setting deadlines, and managing calendars to ensure they’re met</li><li>Organising post-production bookings, maintaining good relationships with external suppliers and internal production centre</li><li>Sourcing material for projects, social video, pitches &amp; briefs</li><li>Assisting in departmental admin including help with dept. events, away days, creative team meetings and award submissions</li><li>Ensure archiving &amp; logging of all 4Voice project material across the business</li><li>Helping to maintain databases and trackers &nbsp;</li><li>Be passionate about and understand the Channel 4 <a href="https://www.channel4.com/corporate/about-4/what-we-do/channel-4s-remit" target="_blank">remit</a></li></ul> Knowledge, skills and experienceAs part of the application process you’ll be asked to tell us how you meet the essential criteria listed below. You’ll spend 60% of your working week in your office base and 40% working from home.The formal training provided will consist of workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and in some cases residential boot camps.
