WB Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for Production Companies. WB De Lane Lea based in Soho, London, provides state of the art facilities in audio post-production for feature films and television.

These facilities make Warner Bros. Entertainment the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post-production facility in the UK. 
 
The job:

The job:

<li>An entry-level professional plumber working under a licensed plumbing and heating engineer/supervisor to assist with tasks which include maintenance, modification, and installation of plumbing systems at WBSL</li>
<li>The plumbing apprentices provides support to full-fledge plumbers while ultimately improving their skill set which includes attending college to complete an industry recognised training course</li>

This a three+ year development programme giving you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop practical skills for an exciting and rewarding career in analytics.
Our apprenticeship programme is designed to provide work experience and a related qualification to people leaving formal education and who have decided to pursue an Apprenticeship rather than attend University.
As an analyst apprentice, 20% of your time will be spent studying towards a BSc Honours degree apprenticeship in Digital &amp; Technology Solutions with Ada, National College for Digital skills.
The other 80% of your time will be spent applying this learning on-the-job at C4, both based in London, working on cutting-edge projects with real business applications. As part of your employment package, you will receive a full-time salary, with C4 paying at the real London Living Wage.
Our apprenticeships are full-time, with week-long blocks spent working in a C4 department and week-long blocks spent completing the formal learning parts of the apprenticeship. Our Apprentices have external tutors who deliver workshops and seminars to them and offer support throughout the apprenticeship. It is essential for apprentices to be able to balance their work and learning time and commit to delivering what is required for the formal learning elements in order to successfully achieve the qualifications on completion. Am I eligible to apply?
You must be over 18 years old and be able to access the Channel 4 London office Ada Whitechapel campus.
The start date of the apprenticeship is September 2022.
By the time the successful candidate starts at C4, they cannot be enrolled in any formal education or have a similar qualification at the same or higher level than what is being offered on this apprenticeship. For example, you are not eligible to apply for this role if you already have a Diploma or higher qualification relating to Analytics.

The purpose of the department:
This role sits within the All 4 department in Channel 4. All 4 is one of the biggest and youngest skewing UK broadcaster video-on-demand services, with over 10,000 hours of content, over 5m monthly viewing accounts, and 75% of UK 16-34s registered with the service. It’s home to some of the biggest and noisiest shows on TV, from Gogglebox to Derry Girls, It’s A Sin to Come Dine with Me. All 4 is available on over 20 different platforms including TVs, mobiles and PCs, and the department is tasked with making sure that no matter where it’s consumed, the experience is as easy and enjoyable as possible.
In the Analytics team, we work across almost every area of the business that needs VOD data, and Analysts have a lot of autonomy and influence. It’s our job to help our stakeholders make better, data-driven decisions, by shedding light on how viewers are behaving – and this means we find ourselves working on a wide, fascinating and ever-changing range of projects. The Independent Cinema Office (ICO) is the national organisation for the support and development of the independent cinema exhibition sector in the UK.
We offer film programming services to cinemas, bring films into distribution and are the main provider of events, training and advice for the independent cinema sector. We work with the main funding bodies in film exhibition, are a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity.
Our film programming clients include cinemas as diverse as the Watershed in Bristol, Malvern Theatres in Worcestershire and Catford Mews in South East London. In 2020-21 we delivered a national film tour, Second Sight, exploring the legacy of the UK’s Black Film Workshop Movement with a series of award-winning artists’ commissions. The ICO also delivers Screening Days, a national and regional showcase for cultural cinema for film societies, community cinemas and cinemas; and runs a portfolio of national and internationally renowned training programmes for exhibitors.
 
The role
One day you may be creating a social media campaign for our digital platform, The Cinema of Ideas, the next you may be researching venues for one of our international training courses and the next organising the delivery of preview films for our Screening Days events. We work with many different kinds of partners across the UK – cinemas, festivals, film societies; national bodies; distributors and education and training providers.  
The ICO is a small arts organisation and the individual we are seeking must be a self-starter. You will be assisting busy marketing and event teams to deliver activities across all of our services.

Knowledge, skills, experience

Set lighting dimming & control apprentice (WBSL Reach)

Two-year contract: July 2022 to July 2024, 3 days per week between Monday to Thursday

The Line is looking for a project manager to join its team to manage the delivery of a programme of ambitious site-specific public art commissions co-produced with local people between 2022-2024.
The Line is London’s first dedicated art walk. The Line exists to connect communities and inspire individuals through an outdoor exhibition programme where everyone can enjoy art, nature and heritage for free. The route runs between Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The O2, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian.

This new series of commissions will be developed through community consultation and engagement, with all stages developed with local input. The project manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the commissioning process, from the conceptualisation and planning phase through to the fabrication and installation of each work. Working closely with The Line’s Co-Founder and Director and Senior Management Team, the project manager will also need to work closely with local authorities, landowners, community organisations and residents. Community engagement in the planning, design and implementation of projects is a central focus of the role and you will be required to work with a dedicated engagement coordinator on this.
The project manager will also support with the delivery of a new site-specific audio commission and additional exhibition programmes on the route.
 
Responsibilities
Collaborative planning and community engagement:
<ul>
<li>Work with representatives of the London Borough of Newham, project designers and architects, community organisations and residents to develop artist briefs in response to local interests and needs, as well as the practical constraints of each site</li>
<li>Establish effective systems and programmes for project tracking, reporting on and documenting feedback throughout the commissioning process</li>
<li>Build and maintain partnerships between artists, local authorities, community organisations and residents</li>
<li>With the support of The Line Engagement Coordinator, develop creative community engagement approaches, including but not limited to events and workshops, public art unveilings, surveys, virtual or in-person public meetings or forums</li>
<li>Organise consultation events ahead of the development of the brief and, with the appointed artists, organise events during the development of each artwork proposal</li>
<li>Assist with additional funding development for projects</li>
</ul>
Project management and delivery:
<ul>
<li>Work with the London Borough of Newham to establish baseline data</li>
<li>Manage the development and delivery of three site-specific commissions across 2022-2024</li>
<li>Manage artist selection process including preparing and releasing briefing documents, coordinating proposals, liaising with potential artists, and recruiting and managing an artist selection committee / working group for each project</li>
<li>Manage proposal development with shortlisted artists and coordinate proposal presentations, capturing community and stakeholder feedback</li>
<li>Manage artist selection and appointment</li>
<li>Coordinate detailed proposal development liaising with fabricators and project partners to ensure timely progress and problem-solving</li>
<li>Prepare and monitor project budgets</li>
<li>Attend site visits and fabrication meetings</li>
<li>Oversee site surveys and engineering reviews as required for each site </li>
<li>Research fabricators and suppliers</li>
<li>Ensure that funder requirements are met with regards to competitive tendering and reporting</li>
<li>Oversee installation on-site and maintain effective and timely communications with colleagues and partners</li>
<li>Prepare and distribute maintenance plans and manuals for all commissions </li>
<li>Serve as representative of The Line with stakeholders and project partners, managing steering group meetings, artists proposal presentations, community engagement activities and board presentations</li>

Reporting and documentation:

<li>Attend fortnightly project meetings with representatives from Newham </li>
<li>Prepare and circulate timely minutes following meetings</li>
<li>Manage sign off processes with artists, gallerists and stakeholders as required</li>
<li>Ensure all necessary paperwork and permissions are in place with appropriate authorities and stakeholders to include risk assessments and planning requirements</li>
<li>Coordinate photo, video and written documentation of commissioned works – both during development and post completion for press, installation and maintenance purposes</li>
<li>Archive project materials for communicating the project to the client and other stakeholders and provide collateral support for the project</li>
<li>Establish Sharepoint and project systems</li>
<li>Support with preparing baseline data and upholding evaluation requirements throughout</li>
<li>Complete project and financial reports for funders</li>
