You will be responsible for implementing sales-driving and profile-building publicity campaigns,&nbsp;fully integrating all aspects of the media and events spaces to positively raise awareness of the author and book&nbsp;across our wide range of imprints.You’ll be required to confidently present plans to colleagues in-house and externally to authors and agents, regularly updating key stakeholders on progress, as well as offering exceptional author care and maintaining excellent relationships with authors and agents. &nbsp;Who we are looking forWe are looking for an experienced Press Officer and a passionate publicist to deliver creative campaigns across Orion’s broad fiction and non fiction list.You will have demonstrable experience with a proven track record of creating impressive publicity campaigns across fiction and non-fiction, along with interest and experience in commercial publishing.&nbsp;Alongside demonstrable PR experience, the ideal candidate will be efficient, have a broad range of contacts across the media and events, and bring initiative, creativity, and passion to the role. Key activitiesThe Awards Assistant will work as part of a team focused on delivering all aspects of administration involved with inviting voters to attend screenings and Q&amp;A events, both in person and virtual, offered to BAFTA, AMPAS and Guild members throughout the awards season. As well as communicating directly with voters, the Awards Assistant will help to compile the final guest lists and assist with other aspects of the event.
