The Line is looking for a project manager to join its team to manage the delivery of a programme of ambitious site-specific public art commissions co-produced with local people between 2022-2024.
The Line is London’s first dedicated art walk. The Line exists to connect communities and inspire individuals through an outdoor exhibition programme where everyone can enjoy art, nature and heritage for free. The route runs between Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The O2, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian.

This new series of commissions will be developed through community consultation and engagement, with all stages developed with local input. The project manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the commissioning process, from the conceptualisation and planning phase through to the fabrication and installation of each work. Working closely with The Line’s Co-Founder and Director and Senior Management Team, the project manager will also need to work closely with local authorities, landowners, community organisations and residents. Community engagement in the planning, design and implementation of projects is a central focus of the role and you will be required to work with a dedicated engagement coordinator on this.
The project manager will also support with the delivery of a new site-specific audio commission and additional exhibition programmes on the route.
 
Responsibilities
Collaborative planning and community engagement:
<ul>
<li>Work with representatives of the London Borough of Newham, project designers and architects, community organisations and residents to develop artist briefs in response to local interests and needs, as well as the practical constraints of each site</li>
<li>Establish effective systems and programmes for project tracking, reporting on and documenting feedback throughout the commissioning process</li>
<li>Build and maintain partnerships between artists, local authorities, community organisations and residents</li>
<li>With the support of The Line Engagement Coordinator, develop creative community engagement approaches, including but not limited to events and workshops, public art unveilings, surveys, virtual or in-person public meetings or forums</li>
<li>Organise consultation events ahead of the development of the brief and, with the appointed artists, organise events during the development of each artwork proposal</li>
<li>Assist with additional funding development for projects</li>
</ul>
Project management and delivery:
<ul>
<li>Work with the London Borough of Newham to establish baseline data</li>
<li>Manage the development and delivery of three site-specific commissions across 2022-2024</li>
<li>Manage artist selection process including preparing and releasing briefing documents, coordinating proposals, liaising with potential artists, and recruiting and managing an artist selection committee / working group for each project</li>
<li>Manage proposal development with shortlisted artists and coordinate proposal presentations, capturing community and stakeholder feedback</li>
<li>Manage artist selection and appointment</li>
<li>Coordinate detailed proposal development liaising with fabricators and project partners to ensure timely progress and problem-solving</li>
<li>Prepare and monitor project budgets</li>
<li>Attend site visits and fabrication meetings</li>
<li>Oversee site surveys and engineering reviews as required for each site </li>
<li>Research fabricators and suppliers</li>
<li>Ensure that funder requirements are met with regards to competitive tendering and reporting</li>
<li>Oversee installation on-site and maintain effective and timely communications with colleagues and partners</li>
<li>Prepare and distribute maintenance plans and manuals for all commissions </li>
<li>Serve as representative of The Line with stakeholders and project partners, managing steering group meetings, artists proposal presentations, community engagement activities and board presentations</li>

Reporting and documentation:

<li>Prepare and circulate timely minutes following meetings</li>
<li>Manage sign off processes with artists, gallerists and stakeholders as required</li>
<li>Ensure all necessary paperwork and permissions are in place with appropriate authorities and stakeholders to include risk assessments and planning requirements</li>
<li>Coordinate photo, video and written documentation of commissioned works – both during development and post completion for press, installation and maintenance purposes</li>
<li>Archive project materials for communicating the project to the client and other stakeholders and provide collateral support for the project</li>
<li>Establish Sharepoint and project systems</li>
<li>Support with preparing baseline data and upholding evaluation requirements throughout</li>
<li>Complete project and financial reports for funders</li>

The International Audiences team provides ITV Studios with a range of data and research to drive the distribution and production business. This role will initially take on a number of administrative tasks to support the team, such as diary management, organising meetings, managing department subscriptions, raising purchase orders and maintaining purchase order trackers (full training will be given).

Producer

As Novel continues to grow, we are offering a 6 month, fixed term contract for a researcher to work on our slate of longform narrative podcasts and entertainment formats. 
Novel produces premium original podcasts, as well as award winning content for leading broadcast networks and platforms, including the BBC, iHeartRadio, Wondery, Audible and Spotify. 
Whilst investigative and narrative documentary storytelling are firmly in our DNA, Novel also develops and produces shows spanning comedy, politics, sport and scripted. 
With great development and IP at the centre, our ideas are increasingly migrating to TV, Film and publishing. 
We are an ever expanding team of 50+ people based in London, with a presence in the US. 
 
Overview
We’re looking to hear from candidates that have a great ear for audio storytelling and a dogged and tenacious attitude to research. 
This is an opportunity to do meaningful and exciting work and develop in a team environment using diverse and innovative production styles to produce award winning series. 
Successful candidates will be experienced in researching ideas across different genres. They will have a methodical and pragmatic approach to their work. They’ll be confident tracking down leads via phone and email as well as versed in internet research tools. 
An independent drive to work is essential, along with managing multiple assignments to hit deadlines whilst maintaining the necessary space for care and attention to detail. 
A passion for creative audio production is a must. Editing on Descript and Reaper is a significant bonus but time will also be given for developing these skills.

We’re looking for an organised and proactive assistant to join our operations and managing editorial team on a fixed-term contract basis for approximately 10 months.
As part of the wider Penguin Random House Children’s division, Operations supports the creative teams and processes that underpin our business, making sure that all the teams are on track to get a book published, available online and in stores with all of the right information to market them well.
This role will primarily support the Editorial and Design teams, but also work closely with Marketing, Rights, Sales, Publishing Operations and Finance, so you’ll be someone comfortable working with a wide range of people on a regular basis.
 
Responsibilities

<li>You’ll be responsible for things like ensuring our internal information is accurate and up-to-date, ready to share with retailers who sell our books online and in store across the world, as well as making sure our suppliers and freelancers get paid on time</li>

At Smart Energy GB, we aim to engage and communicate with the whole of our diverse nation about the smart meter rollout across England, Scotland, and Wales. We are an independent organisation set up by the government to deliver the national public engagement campaign, raise awareness of smart meters and drive the adoption of this technology in everyone's homes. Smart meters are essential building blocks in the creation of a cleaner, greener energy system for the future.
We are looking for a passionate, collaborative and detail-orientated website manager, with a background in search strategy with a focus on search engine optimisation (SEO) and experience in online content management systems and analytics software, to join the team in our London office on a 12-month contract.
Your task will be to oversee the Smart Energy GB website and its content to ensure it provides a seamless journey for our campaigns, directing the audience to relevant journeys within energy supplier websites to book a smart meter installation, as well as providing journeys for those looking for information about smart meters. You will also oversee the relationship with our build partner and manage a six-figure annual development budget, which you will use to create and deliver the annual development road map.
 
Key tasks/responsibilities

<li>Lead on creating our website content strategy. Ensure new content generated is appropriate for publishing, including writing accessible website content and proofreading content from junior team members</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with our media agency and Search Manager to review combined SEO and PPC delivery, generate new keywords and ad copy, and review ongoing performance</li>
<li>Lead our development agency to deliver the annual development road map for the website, including large-scale developments. You will plan and manage all the development cycles, prioritising work, ensuring it is brought in on time and on budget and that our high standards of design and UX are maintained, as well as our AA accessibility compliance rating</li>
