Post production apprentice (WBSL Reach)
Contract length: 18 months

Have a passion for production and post production? Would you love to gain hands-on experience as an apprentice?
The position is based at Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, which provides sound and picture post production as well as Dailies services for feature films and television. WBDLL comprises of comprehensive facilities including Sound Re-Recording and ADR stages, Grading Theatres, Preview Theatres and a full complement of highly-equipped supporting departments in addition to 50 cutting rooms and a bar/café based in the heart of Soho and at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
You will provide accurate, effective and timely office support to the Operations, Sales and Bookings teams, clients on site and staff employed at Warner Bros. De Lane Lea.
The work will be varied and the role offers an opportunity to learn about every aspect of the industry.
The Daily:
- Provide support to the Executive Director, Operations and Director, Post Production
- Undertake general administrative duties including but not limited to: raising purchase orders, working with WB centralised systems, data entry, desktop publishing, ad hoc paperwork
- Act as a point of contact to both internal and external visitors ensuring that they are given a positive image of the organisation
- Provide exceptional customer service and achieve high client and staff satisfaction when carrying out all tasks requested.
- Offering general office support as required whilst ensuring general office space is kept neat and presentable at all times
- Able to use systems and adopt new technologies
- To run any errands requested such as delivering packages, buying food and drink outside WBDLL and keeping an accurate record and receipts of all amounts purchased and for whom
- Liaise with operational, managerial and financial staff to ensure the seamless delivery of services
- To cover Reception during breaks and lunch hours
- Responsible for handling company credit card transactions
- Ad hoc duties as required
Knowledge, skills, experience
- Passion for production and post production
- Strong IT skills and a desire to lean new systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create an immediate rapport with a range of contacts
- Ability to understand and address client and staff needs diplomatically and effectively
- Capacity to remain calm and effective in difficult situations
- Able to work within a shift pattern as well as ad hoc timings that may include evenings and weekends
- The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team in an often pressurised environment
