(UK based remote applications will be considered)&nbsp;A Productions are&nbsp;looking for an Avid editor with proven experience in the animation industry to work with us on an exciting new 2D pre-school series based on a well known and much loved series of children’s books.We are an award-winning animation studio based in central Bristol. Delivering a creative, inclusive work community that encourages collaboration, engagement and mutual trust is at its core.&nbsp;Knowledge, skills and experience<ul><li>Proven experience editing long form pre-school animation series&nbsp;</li><li>A creative mind and storytelling skills with a passion for animation</li><li>The ability to work with VO records, interpret scripts and visualise stories early on in the production process</li><li>Ability to work well with Directors and facilitate their creative vision in the edit</li><li>Confidence in working across multiple episodes on a long form series and being able to multitask whilst each episode is in a different stage of the pipeline</li><li>To balance a considerable workload and deliver consistently to deadlines, whilst reacting positively to changes and conflicting priorities in a fast paced work environment</li><li>Must be highly proficient in Avid Media Composer&nbsp;</li><li>Must have a clear understanding of the post production process and be confident in delivering both media and edit information to post production picture and sound</li><li>A strong technical understanding of file formats to include, import settings, media management and colour space&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience of using Ftrack would be a bonus but is not a necessity</li><li>Work with and manage an Edit Assistant&nbsp;</li><li>A calm, clear and organised attitude to work</li><li>Friendly persona and ability to work well with all different members of the production team from Runners to Execs&nbsp;</li><li>Attention to detail, accuracy, and communication</li><li>The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the Edit team and production team as a whole</li><li>Willingness to support less experienced staff&nbsp;</li><li>Strong organisational skills.</li></ul>A Productions are an equal opportunity employer and place a high value on diversity and inclusion within our company and actively encourage applications from under-represented groups.&nbsp; We are committed to equality of opportunity and are open to discussing flexible working hours.&nbsp;Please include in your application that you found this role through Creative Access.
