Mentors, from the ITV finance, legal and technology teams have signed up to support and nurture the next generation of talent who want to begin or progress, their journey towards their first or next opportunity in television. 
ITV’s family of channels consists of ITV main channel, which is the largest commercial channel in the UK, ITV2 and ITV3 - the two largest digital channels in the UK, ITV4, ITVBe, and CITV. From ITV News and ITV Sport, to commercial and commissioning, there are many different roles and teams who come together to make content; from development and production, through to design, digital, technology, legal, finance and HR.   
This programme aims to break down barriers and myths, and showcase the rich mix of roles and opportunities on offer. It is about giving mentees the chance to gain insights and expertise, develop skills and confidence, and build new connections and networks with the television industry. And it is about giving mentors the opportunity to learn from the fresh perspectives of the mentees.  
 
How does the programme work? 
Mentors will be available from across ITV, representing all the <a href="https://www.itvjobs.com/business-areas" target="_blank">business areas.</a> Where possible, mentees will be matched with a mentor working in the area in which they would like to work.  
We're looking for mentees interested in one of these areas: technology, legal, finance.
Starting with a virtual Meet &amp; Greet session in June 2022, the mentoring partnerships will run for six months. Mentees will have the opportunity to meet with their mentor once a month for approximately an hour. 
 
What do you need to apply? 
A genuine passion for one of these areas: technology, legal, finance 
An aim to gain employment in a relevant trainee or entry-level role in the future or to secure support with progressing your existing career within television 
A willingness to engage positively with a mentor on a monthly basis for six months

The role will involve:

LSA is a new sixth form academy for 16-19 year olds in London who have a passion for film and television and the stories they tell. Our current cohort is 640 students and 285 alumni.

We are looking for someone with a passion for television to join our busy team with the view to building a career at ITV.

We are a digitally led entertainment and media company that creates and brings brilliant content to audiences, wherever, whenever and however they choose.
The International Audiences team provides ITV Studios with a range of data and research to drive the distribution and production business. This could be anything from performance tracking and competitor analysis to specific territory or programme research. This role will initially take on a number of administrative tasks to support the team, such as diary management, organising meetings, managing department subscriptions, raising purchase orders and maintaining purchase order trackers (full training will be given).
The role will quickly develop to include more research based tasks such as supporting competitor tracking with desk (internet based) research, maintaining regular performance reporting, contributing to the design and distribution of the team newsletter and helping to update our website, as well as any other ad-hoc queries. There will also be an opportunity to get involved with projects across the wider ITV Audiences department.
Currently the team is operating a hybrid approach to working where the majority of the time is spent working from home however there will be a requirement to be in the office (ITV White City, 201 Wood Lane, London, W12 7RU) at least two days a week.

The role will be assisting two agents, including a managing Partner, who each represent a list of established and emerging writers, directors and rights holders working across theatre, film, and television.
As assistant you will be responsible for managing the agents’ diaries, liaising with producers and clients on their behalf, and tracking contractual negotiations, managing client payments and generally ensuring a smooth-running and efficient office.
 
Responsibilities

<li>General PA (personal assistant) duties: booking meetings and calls, answering phone calls, emails and arranging travel and accommodation.</li>
<li>Assisting with general administration including managing, filing and being across agents’ emails.</li>
<li>Taking and typing dictated emails and letters.</li>
<li>Liaising with clients, setting up client meetings and calls, and sending client writing samples/CVs.</li>
<li>Updating The Agency’s website, individual client biographies for our website and providing and proactively managing content for The Agency’s twitter and Instagram feeds.</li>

Front Line Facilitators is the Old Vic Theatre's highly successful creative practitioner programme for people aged 18+, offering advanced hands-on experience in creative facilitation and the chance to develop key transferable skills.
As Participation Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination, administration and development of The Old Vic’s Front Line and Front Line Lambeth programmes, under the guidance of the Participation Manager. You will also support the Participation Manager with the administration of the emerging theatre professionals programmes and will lead on the administration of the Old Vic Facilitators programme. Our programmes are funding dependent and as such you will also support other Old Vic youth engagement projects as required. These projects will serve particular strategic objectives as defined in The Old Vic Business Plan (as updated annually). About the role
We have two roles in our Learning &amp; Participation team, to work with schools that are part of our Hippodrome Education Network (HEN). Depending on your skills and background, you will plan and deliver high quality, inspiring and exciting Learning projects and activities in primary or secondary schools.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>You will help raise our profile, by collaborating with school staff to design and implement a programme of activity to meet school objectives as well as the needs of students with a focus on drama and theatre</li>
<li>Whether involved in drama or musical theatre projects you will ensure you provide impact, opportunity and personal and skills development for the young people of our city region</li>
<li>You will monitor and evaluate work against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and submit project reports</li>
<li>You will share your expertise to support colleagues across the team. Important will be the ability to support and promote partner schools’ codes of practice regarding discipline, professional conduct and equality of opportunity</li>
</ul>
 
Knowledge, skills, experience
<ul>
<li>For these roles, you must have professional experience in one of the specialisms of Drama, Theatre and Spoken Word or Musical Theatre</li>
<li>You will have worked in secondary or primary school settings with young people as well as delivered activities in education and community settings</li>
<li>You will also possess a good understanding of current trends within theatre and arts education and be familiar with devising and leading workshops as well as producing performances</li>
<li>You will have sound knowledge of safeguarding issues, particularly in relation to children and young people</li>
<li>Excellent communication, relationship building and organisational skills</li>
</ul>

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Stakeholder Engagement Officer to provide support to the Head of External Relations and Stakeholders. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring effective management of internal and external equalities stakeholders, with a focus on women, youth and LGBTQI+, to create positive relationships and minimise risks.
The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of equalities issues, organisations and networks, especially as they relate to women, youth and LGBTQI+, experience of writing targeted briefing/advice notes, the ability to present effectively to senior stakeholders and excellent project management skills.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>To provide secretariat support to relevant Committees that are part of the internal governance of the Party, including the NEC Equalities Committee, National Women’s Committee, the Women’s Conference Arrangements Committee, National Labour Students, Young Labour and relevant subgroups, and to work closely with the Governance and Legal Unit on the smooth delivery of elections for those committees</li>
<li>To take the lead in delivering conferences for equalities stakeholders, in line with the current rules of the Party and agreements reached with the NEC Equalities Committee and the wider NEC</li>
<li>To ensure that commitments to training for relevant equalities stakeholders are implemented and delivered effectively, including implementation of the Jo Cox Women in Leadership training programme</li>
<li>To manage relationships with relevant Socialist Societies and Friends groups to ensure positive ongoing relationships and reduce risk</li>
<li>To act as a source of expertise, knowledge and networks for the Leader’s Office related to relevant stakeholder groups</li>
<li>To provide briefing for the Leader in relation to events, speeches and social media messages that relate to relevant equalities groups</li>
<li>To accompany the Leader on relevant visits to ensure effective management of stakeholder issues</li>
<li>To act as a source of expertise, knowledge and networks for the wider Parliamentary Labour Party, Shadow Cabinet, regional teams, Policy and Communications teams</li>
<li>To work closely with the Office of the Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities to ensure a coordinated approach is taken to relevant stakeholder issues</li>
<li>To work closely with the Head of External Relations and Stakeholders to develop a strategy for external engagement with the relevant groups that can focus on electoral success. This will be based on an analysis of the relevance of particular groups to target seats and regions</li>
</ul>
 
Knowledge, skills, experience
<ul>
<li>Sound understanding of the Labour Party’s procedures, structures and organisation and how to work within these</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of equalities issues, organisations and networks, especially as they relate to women, youth and LGBTQI+</li>
<li>Working knowledge of equalities legislation and related policies</li>
<li>Knowledge of campaigning and elections at local or national level</li>
<li>Experience of conference / event organisation</li>
<li>Experience of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders and dealing with conflicting views and demands</li>
<li>Experience of writing targeted briefing / advice notes</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to present effectively to senior stakeholders</li>
<li>Excellent project management skills</li>
