OUP’s Academic Division publishes world-leading journals and digital book and reference products including Oxford Scholarship Online and the Oxford Research Encyclopedias. Purchased by libraries and delivered via our best-in-class Oxford Academic platform, these products aim to deliver academic content to researchers when, and how, they need it.
The academic publishing landscape is rapidly changing and as the Marketing Assistant for Global Library Marketing, you will be part of a team that is at the centre of supporting major publishing and business developments. As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing marketing activities for key global promotions and initiatives targeting librarians while utilizing a range of innovative digital tactics. Your campaigns will support and drive critical revenue streams for the Press.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support global library marketing campaigns aligned with sales priorities for growing revenue and retaining existing business, bringing new product or business model launches to the market, and increasing customer engagement with OUP and its products
- Utilise a mix of marketing tactics to achieve campaign success including digital ads, email, newsletters, webinars, and social media
- Create and manage assets for global library marketing campaigns including banners, social media cards, videos, landing pages, and infographics
- Support and contribute librarian-focused content for core communication channels such as global librarian newsletters, blog articles, and social media, including our @OUPLibraries Twitter channel
- Measure and analyse campaign and channel performance regularly to inform future campaign strategy
- Assist with the preparation and development of marketing reports, plans, and presentations
