This role will involve working evenings and weekends. Through performing arts, media and heritage projects, we provide safe, inclusive spaces for participants to build industry-relevant skills and intercultural competencies.The content producer will play a key role in the "Queer Global" project, focusing on the digital aspects of documenting and celebrating the cultural heritage of LGBTQ+ people from the global majority and migrant communities in West London. This position involves overseeing the production of digital content, including co-creation with our service users, managing social media platforms, web design and ensuring high-quality digital outputs for broad accessibility. ResponsibilitiesDigital content production<ul><li>The creation of digital content, including podcasts, social media content, event videos, photography and project related documentaries</li><li>Oversee all stages of digital content production, from planning and scripting to recruiting, filming, editing, and publishing</li><li>Ensure that all digital outputs are of high quality and align with the project’s goals, vision and funder acknowledgement guidelines</li><li>Design marketing and promotional campaigns and create materials such as photographs, flyers, posters, digital content, trailers and banners to recruit project participants, event attendees and audiences</li><li>Occasional attendance at events will be needed to capture content, requiring a flexible approach to travel and irregular working hours</li></ul>Technical management<ul><li>Manage all technical aspects of digital media production, including audio and video recording equipment, editing software, and digital storage</li><li>Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and utilised effectively</li><li>Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the production process</li></ul>Digital archiving<ul><li>Develop and maintain a digital archive for the project’s outputs, ensuring that all materials are properly catalogued and stored</li><li>Collaborate with the project partners to integrate digital materials into their existing archives</li><li>Ensure that the digital archive is accessible to the public and future researchers</li></ul>Community engagement<ul><li>Work closely with community members to capture their stories and experiences in digital formats</li><li>Facilitate workshops (co-creation labs) and events that engage the community in the production and sharing of digital content</li></ul> Knowledge, skills and experience<ul><li>Proven experience and advanced skills in digital media production, including audio and video editing (Adobe Creative Cloud, Davinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro)</li><li>Excellent camera operation skills for video production and stills photography</li><li>Excellent project coordination and ability to deliver work on time</li><li>Ability to handle constructive feedback with a positive attitude and demonstrate resilience when revising work, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with project goals</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Deep understanding and keen insights into social media content conventions and platform-specific trends</li><li>Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and community empowerment</li></ul>Interested?
