Closing date: 21st July 2025First Round Interviews: W/C 29th July 2025Salary: £27,000-£30,000 per annum according to experience &nbsp; &nbsp;Intermusica is seeking a highly organised, capable, and dependable assistant artist manager to join our dynamic Vocal &amp; Opera department.In this role, you'll provide essential operational support to a roster of world-class artists, while also assisting our Head of Vocal &amp; Opera, Nathan Morrison. Our first-class roster includes some of the most famous and respected artists, including singers Elīna Garanča, Sondra Radvanovsky, and SeokJong Baek.Founded in 1981 by Chief Executive Stephen Lumsden, Intermusica has a highly experienced work force of over 50 staff, operating from our headquarters in London, and offices in Berlin and New York. &nbsp;ResponsibilitiesArtist administration<ul><li>Booking travel and accommodation for artists where required.</li><li>Responsibility for visa and work permit arrangements.</li><li>Responsibility for keeping artists’ diaries (via online database) up-to-date, clear, and correct – keeping in constant contact with managers to ensure all the necessary information is included.</li><li>Producing detailed schedules for artists, showing a careful eye for detail, and ensuring that the artists have all the required information to fulfil their commitments.</li><li>Initial checking and prompt processing of contracts.</li><li>Producing financial paperwork promptly (financial summaries, invoices, etc.) with full tax details and other relevant information such as commission rates.</li><li>Maintaining artist profiles on website (including updating biographies and other marketing materials, drafting news stories, and adding reviews).</li><li>Skilled in knowledge and application of social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok) in the classical music industry.</li><li>Providing general administrative support for the department and the Head of Vocal &amp; Opera.</li><li>Supporting other Artist Managers, including organising internal and external meetings; organising trips including travel, hotel, meetings, and concerts.</li><li>Keeping abreast of developments in areas that might affect your work, such as tax, immigration, travel, accommodation.</li><li>Miscellaneous errands, such as attending visa centres for artists.</li><li>Liaising with promoters for complimentary tickets.</li></ul> &nbsp;Knowledge, skills and experience&nbsp;Required/essential<ul><li>Graduate calibre with prior administrative experience, ideally in an arts/cultural organisation</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate with artists, promoters, and colleagues in a clear, meaningful, and effective way, using tact and discretion at all levels.</li><li>Resilient and calm under pressure, with the ability to multitask and deal with conflicting priorities in a frequently fast paced environment.</li><li>An understanding of forward planning and the ability to manage scheduling challenges.</li><li>Team player who builds trust by being solutions-focused and accountable for their work.</li><li>Works to deadlines and with an excellent eye for detail.</li><li>Proactive and able to demonstrate a positive and flexible approach.</li><li>Reliable, conscientious, and highly organised.</li><li>Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.</li><li>Demonstrable interest in and knowledge of classical music.</li></ul>&nbsp;Desired<ul><li>Previous experience organising international travel and managing diaries.</li><li>Fluent or proficient in a second language.</li><li>Prior experience of Overture (agency software).</li></ul> &nbsp;We are committed to improving equality and diversity within Intermusica and the wider classical music sector.
